Honestly Hoseok is one of the best dancers in the industry, if not the best. Jimin is close but Hoseok isn't even real when it comes to dancing. Even the members think he's the best.
Still remember when Park Jimin shookt the entire world by dancing Boy Meets Evil ft. Lie with a blindfold on? And how synchronized they are while dancing? Yes, this is the right video.

Tbf, people said that about The Backstreet Boys then along comes N-Sync. Said it about Boyzone, then there was Westlife. Said it about One Direction then there was BTS. I remember my mum saying it about The New Kids on The Block, then along came Take That. 😅 There will be another massive band one day but that will be the best band for THAT generation. You are lucky to have BTS. They're your time. We're lucky to experience them, and they are awesome. Still, The Beatles are still, to this day, the best selling boy band in history!

I swear, is there anything Jimin CAN'T do? He has the voice of an angel and his smile alone is enough to brighten anyone’s day. Don't even get me started on his dancing or his talent as a performer. Watching Park Jimin dance is an experience within itself and I can never take my eyes away from him when I see him dance.
Jimin is a true masterpiece not only in this performance but in all the others. His moves, his charm, his powerful stage presence, emotions, those immportant details.. he dances with his whole life and soul. He's fascinating to watch and he has the most beautiful body line with the classical quality of elegance and grace. He can be both delicate and powerful, smooth and sharp. Seriously he the best dancer I've seen and he just suprises us with something new every time. No one could ever imitate him because he excelled his own unique technique, that's mindblowing. I'm not surprised at all that so many idols look up to him and analyse his performances. I'm always looking forward to more of his solo stages :)

Oh no not by this swing, but in the blood sweat and tears music video you see jungkook hanging in the air and to to do that he had to be wired with wire and be held in a position that felt like his waist was gonna break. He was held in an uncomfortable position and it hurt, but it didnt cause any specific injury or damage so thats a relief ^^. Our jungkookie be working hard for us so thankuuuu~~ Army always appreciates it. Our bts are srsly hardworking thats for sure ♡

I am so addicted to the Boy Meets Evil dance. Both J-hope and Jimin did a superb job. I really love the blindfold thing and how Jimin was in perfect sync with Hobi.
One thing I think is incredibly overlooked about the intro performance is that Jimin is legitimately blindfolded. After watching many performances of people with fake blindfolds, one can easily see the person's eyes and see the eyelid pressing up against the fabric. With Jimin's, you cannot. His sense of balance and connection with his body must be rock solid or else those moves would've been impossible.

He showcased how to execute a performance while wearing blindfolds, remained professional after a stumble, once again showing how to beautifully maintain his stable vocals all throughout the choreography.... he’s so amazing to watch, even after three years of this stage, it remains as one of my favourites, can not wait to see what future stages will hold to see jimin shine as bright as here

Yeah! Same here! Both groups are amazing in their own way and they work so hard all along the year. It's just stupid and disrespectful to come and bash their performances just because of fan wars. BTS gave an outstanding performance at the MAMA and never disappoint me :D! EXO did an impressive show too despite the fact that they were clearly exhausted. I am glad they were all rewarded for their work and now I just want to see them take some good rest ^^.

Neither of them are better tbh cause they're both good at different things. Their styles are different. If one of them are better at anything than Hoseok's confidence is better at Jimin's when it comes to dance cause Jimin still struggles with his confidence when it comes to both dance and singing. Hoseok has his moments ofc, but nowhere near as badly as Jimin. Hoseok is a hip hop dancer and Jimin is a modern/contemporary dancer. It's hard to compare the two to see which is "better".
I'm sorry but that's your opinion. Jimin's confidence in dancing is just superb and you can't compare that on Hobi's confidence. Have you seen most of their concerts and performances fam?! Jimin be killin' and slaying the moves and his stage presence and charisma's just beyond what you've stated. They are all amazing and have their own unique styles put into their craft. Jimin is not confident on some other disciplines but it's definitely not his AMAZING ART when it comes to dancing. Caramel there was one performance where Lay from exo was also dancing with a similar blindfold and sometimes you could see that he had his eyes open and also it’s very easy to lose balance while having your eyes closed but I might also be wrong

He dances well too but i prefer Jimin's dance that's why he became my bias there's just something about his dance that i only see in him. If you like hobi's dance then support him but for me Jimin is the best.
@Джен Джен They have different styles and Hoseok has sharpest moves and you can see how he slays hip hop moves. But Jimin has more fluid moves due to his training in more classical styles of dance. Both are amazing as performers, they have different styles and I think people can prefer one way better than the other, it's about personal preference, but both are great. Hoseok is so underrated and is a god of dance indeed.

Well they cut out part of EXO's performance too but I get what you mean... I was really pissed when I saw that not only did Mnet cut BTS's perf in two parts but they also managed to remove the intro. Every group work really hard for the show, they all have exhausting schedules and it's just disrespectful not to show their full work. I am not really surprised though, considering the fact that 2016 MAMAs were a huge mess.

TO MNET: Ok Mnet listen up, when it comes to MAMA next year, NO MORE MESSING AROUND OKAY? Next time just upload the FULL VERSION of BTS's performance. NO MORE DODGY CAMERA WORK, just stay focused on the main attraction thats what we want to see. Not the large number of audiences, not the signs held up by fans. You can show us other artists and a few of these things here and there but briefly. Also any time BTS' does a dance break DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA. Especially now when they had a new dance break in FIRE I want to see the full thing. I feel some of the camera men feel too educated and try get all these cool shots with zooming in and out and filiming behind backup dancers and whatnot. But I dont need any of them, I only need to see my boys. And its not just with BTS, it is with all artists, I want to see them perform nothing else. Also please start getting groups and peoples names right. I found it quite disrespectful when they messed up some of the names and even confused the song of one group with another group, like: Monsta X - Hard Carry...like wtf. Mnet should be thankful they didnt do that with BTS and EXO or hell would have literally broke loose. Y'all wouldnt get sleep for the next 3 years so be careful. And please have a better stage next time. Everyone and I mean everyone has agreed that this years stage was lacking a lot. You didnt even have fireworks or anything that cool. The staircase thing was cool in Jimin and Hobi's performance with the blue and red stage cos that gave me chills, but that was about it. Like did you run out of money or something? Even MMA which is a smaller event had a way better stage. I will not deny BTS had an awesome stage this year but that was because it was B to the T to the freaking S, not necessarily because the stage was mind-blowing itself. Please put more effort into all groups and solo performances. I want every artist to have a chance to shine. Also no boring backgrounds, with a lot of performances I saw that the backgrounds werent as visually amazing as they could be. Not sure whether Mnet had anything to do with it, but if ya did please make it look better. We want next years stage to be fire after fire after fire. MAMA is a really big event and it is getting more and more international so you really want to make sure that each year is better and bigger. This is a chance to showcase Korea's best talent to the world. Give them an amazing stage and they will amaze the world. And it bothers me because is unprecedented (they always upload full performance in one video, no matter how long it is), it makes no sense, it splits the views, and it's more difficult to watch( especially for new fans or people who didn't watched live and don't know that this is not the full performance)

Jimin is a true masterpiece not only in this performance but in all the others. His moves, his charm, his powerful stage presence, emotions, those immportant details.. he dances with his whole life and soul. He's fascinating to watch and he has the most beautiful body line with the classical quality of elegance and grace. He can be both delicate and powerful, smooth and sharp. Seriously he the best dancer I've seen and he just suprises us with something new every time. No one could ever imitate him because he excelled his own unique technique, that's mindblowing. I'm not surprised at all that so many idols look up to him and analyse his performances. I'm always looking forward to more of his solo stages :)

One thing I think is incredibly overlooked about the intro performance is that Jimin is legitimately blindfolded. After watching many performances of people with fake blindfolds, one can easily see the person's eyes and see the eyelid pressing up against the fabric. With Jimin's, you cannot. His sense of balance and connection with his body must be rock solid or else those moves would've been impossible.

Neither of them are better tbh cause they're both good at different things. Their styles are different. If one of them are better at anything than Hoseok's confidence is better at Jimin's when it comes to dance cause Jimin still struggles with his confidence when it comes to both dance and singing. Hoseok has his moments ofc, but nowhere near as badly as Jimin.
Hoseok is a hip hop dancer and Jimin is a modern/contemporary dancer. It's hard to compare the two to see which is "better".
I'm sorry but that's your opinion. Jimin's confidence in dancing is just superb and you can't compare that on Hobi's confidence. Have you seen most of their concerts and performances fam?! Jimin be killin' and slaying the moves and his stage presence and charisma's just beyond what you've stated. They are all amazing and have their own unique styles put into their craft. Jimin is not confident on some other disciplines but it's definitely not his AMAZING ART when it comes to dancing. That's my opinion though so yeah, whatever suits your view be it but I will not agree with it though - just saying, no offense.

second, he's not a contempo/modern dancer, he's a hip-hop dancer who can do modern. or he wouldn't be in kpop. ;)
third, if anything, JHope's sharper and more reliable than Jimin. his moves are very clean. and Jimin's more accurate with expressions. plus his positions (specially legs) never seemed awkward to me. (which is obviously due to his ballet training.) and it goes without saying, beautiful to watch.

@Джен Джен They have different styles and Hoseok has sharpest moves and you can see how he slays hip hop moves. But Jimin has more fluid moves due to his training in more classical styles of dance. Both are amazing as performers, they have different styles and I think people can prefer one way better than the other, it's about personal preference, but both are great. Hoseok is so underrated and is a god of dance indeed.

Ok Mnet listen up, when it comes to MAMA next year, NO MORE MESSING AROUND OKAY? Next time just upload the FULL VERSION of BTS's performance. NO MORE DODGY CAMERA WORK, just stay focused on the main attraction thats what we want to see. Not the large number of audiences, not the signs held up by fans. You can show us other artists and a few of these things here and there but briefly.
Also any time BTS' does a dance break DO NOT MOVE THE CAMERA. Especially now when they had a new dance break in FIRE I want to see the full thing.
I feel some of the camera men feel too educated and try get all these cool shots with zooming in and out and filiming behind backup dancers and whatnot. But I dont need any of them, I only need to see my boys.
And its not just with BTS, it is with all artists, I want to see them perform nothing else.
Also please start getting groups and peoples names right. I found it quite disrespectful when they messed up some of the names and even confused the song of one group with another group, like: Monsta X - Hard Carry...like wtf.
Mnet should be thankful they didnt do that with BTS and EXO or hell would have literally broke loose. Y'all wouldnt get sleep for the next 3 years so be careful.
And please have a better stage next time. Everyone and I mean everyone has agreed that this years stage was lacking a lot. You didnt even have fireworks or anything that cool. The staircase thing was cool in Jimin and Hobi's performance with the blue and red stage cos that gave me chills, but that was about it.

Also no boring backgrounds, with a lot of performances I saw that the backgrounds werent as visually amazing as they could be. Not sure whether Mnet had anything to do with it, but if ya did please make it look better.
We want next years stage to be fire after fire after fire. MAMA is a really big event and it is getting more and more international so you really want to make sure that each year is better and bigger. This is a chance to showcase Korea's best talent to the world. Give them an amazing stage and they will amaze the world.

Do you realize how childish you sound that you're angry because their performance is split into two? Seriously, get some perspective, there's no reason to be so angry at something so ridiculous. There's no way for you to know why they cut out JK's part in the first place. Someone assumes something and the fandom runs with it as if its fact, we need to start fact-checking and asking questions. They fixed the mistake and uploaded it with his part. MAMA this year had way better camerawork, the microphones were working super well, and the boys had a super-elaborate/expensive-looking stage. Not to mention they were awarded 2 awards, one being one of the biggest of the night. Count your blessings and get over it. I feel like most of you weren't here for how BTS was treated during the early days so you really just sound spoiled and priveleged. Get over it.

I agree with most part, except that cutting jk's part doesn't explain why they cut the performance in two videos( now 3)?! And it bothers me because is unprecedented (they always upload full performance in one video, no matter how long it is), it makes no sense, it splits the views, and it's more difficult to watch( especially for new fans or people who didn't watched live and don't know that this is not the full performance)

I love BTS & really admire their diligence & passion for performing, but the camera work for 'DNA' @ the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve (I just watched) was really unsatisfying imo... idk if that gave off a good impression... the AMA's went a bit better though-
Yet, I enjoyed the camera work for their Jimmy Kimmel concert & *especially their James Corden performance* THANK YOU JAMES💜ahhh sorry I needed to rant somewhere😂😂😂
