    So nice to see so much fresh snow. Remember this time last year? keeping an eye on that channel sub number, still rising nicely.

      Yeah, I remember all the snow making machines working full time and then on 19 December, the warm weather and rain came to destroy it all. My last day was 18 Dec in the Alps. I went to Serbia, where they had the most snow ever so was quite fortunate...

    Looks like the Swiss have been busy improving the lift station at the top of the hill.

      The restaurant burnt down a couple of years ago so they are rebuilding it and maybe even expanding... not sure...

    Not very crowded. How many hours do you get to record on the 11 before you need to download?

      I just finished this video, due for tomorrow :-) I just purchased 3 x 512 GB SD cards and each will give me just under 8 hours at the highest quality. It then gets transferred to a couple of backup drives. Last year I used the GoPro cloud as a backup but finding Internet fast enough to upload quick enough was difficult...

    Hi, Im staying in barboleuse for a week in February (only second time skiing, went to Morzine in January), not asking you to predict the weather but is there usually plenty of snow around les chaux at that time? We had a pretty close call last time but got lucky with it snowing heavily just as we arrived. How long would it take to get to glacier 3000 area from Barboleuse?

      Really depends on the season, but generally, there's plenty of good snow from mid-December to mid-March. Not really sure how long it take to get to Glacier 3000 from Gryon but it's all in the same area though Gryon is the furthest, Villars is closer and you can get the bus from Les Diablerets...

      @ChasingSnow thank you, do you know how busy the resort is and how it would compare to morzine/avoriaz? We are there from February 17th, which is a school holiday in the UK so I'm hoping it's not too busy🤞

    • @ChasingSnow
      @ChasingSnow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let's just say the higher the better, there are so many resorts here ;-)

      @@ChasingSnow ah true I'm in the US so the quantity of resorts in europe is so overwhelming!!!
      In all of the northeast US we have maybe 50 that serve about 50 million people haha (not all of them ski of course)

    • @ChasingSnow
      @ChasingSnow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @0xCUBE yeah, Europe has about 4000 resorts, North America 850 and US about 520...

    • @0xCUBE
      @0xCUBE ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ChasingSnow exactly! Especially considering that North America is much bigger than all of Europe, especially if you narrow it down to the mountains.
