According to Satish Chandra pg 176 part 1 the hoysalas and Sultan of madurai were in conflict. The sultan attack hoysala in 1342 taking advantage of this harihara and his bros launched expansion policy and captured the whole of hoysala and madurai sultanate.

According to sir Krishnadev Rai is exaggerated (kahaniya gadhi hui) but Mughal empire is not. 😅😅😅
