That leather is stunning!! I love the color. The LV speedy is such a classic and timeless handbag. Girl I held my breath when you did the water test LOL! TFS!

This was wonderful and painful to watch. This is one of my holy grail bags because of the leather, and it's an icon Speedy. I missed out on it when it was released. It does give me hope that I could one day find one on the resale market. Loved your Speedy collection❤

Thank you so much for sharing and doing a review! I've been eying on this since it was released and haven't pulled the trigger yet since it cost significally more than a regular speedy. I was definitely considering buying this 2nd hand, but also directly with LV as well. Do you mind I ask how much was this on Fashionphile when you purchased it?
It was a little under $5000 when I bought it. Fashionphile said it was in excellent condition. But didn’t come with the keys and pillow insert. I thought it was pretty good pricing for it. They are hard to find second hand. Have only seen one other in the Alma.
@@petiteimpact Thank you so much for sharing! I fully agree, they are super hard to find 2nd hand. I only seen it once on eBay Japan for around $5,500 and almost pull the trigger, but decided not to because I didn't want to deal with duties and waiting for it or worst get lost during transit for such a expensive bag. I'll continue my search and find the right one eventually! Yes, I agree with you that a little under $5,000 is pretty good pricing. They seem to hold their value pretty well knowing that it retails $6,800. I feel like LV can make the keys for you in the workshop and also buy the pillow separately from aftercare team. I never seen an Alma yet, but have seen the Steamer but wasn't as interested since the Speedy is most appealing for me.
@@ping-waistevenkuk9670 I am going to try and buy a new set lock and key and the pillow insert. Haven’t gotten around to it yet. But it’s in my list! Oh I did see a trunk version too on eBay asking about $7000. It did end up selling.
