Padma Purana, which is one of the so called ‘sAtWika purANa’, in its Uttara Khanda, there is a section dedicated to the discussion on the greatness of the Bhagavad Gita, i.e., gIta-mAhAtmayaM. It exists as a dialogue between Shiva and Parvati where Shiva narrates the glory of Gita as narrated by Vishnu to Lakshmi earlier. In that context, Vishnu is shown sleeping on his snake bed deeply immersed in his inner-self. Lakshmi remains seated alongside and she enquires her husband about the reason why does he lazily remains on the bed sleepy as mentioned inthe below verse. “śrīruvāca |śayālurasi dugdhābdhau bhagavankena hetunā | udāsīna ivaiśvaryaṃ jagaṃti sthāpayanniva ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:5) “O revered one, You, despite being the sustainer of the world, you being indifferent (passive) towards your glory, are sleeping on this milky ocean, what’s the reason behind this?”. Then the lord vishnu replies that he wasn’t sleeping as such, he was in contemplation and was in communion with his true form of lord Shiva which is his indwelling spirit. from this it is clear that lord vishnu was always in communication with lord maheswar sadashiva through yogas.lord vishnu always medidate lord shiva in his yognidra. śrībhagavānuvāca | nāhaṃ sumukhi nidrālurnijaṃ māheśvaraṃ vapuḥ | dṛśā tatvānuvarttinyā paśyāmyaṃtarnimagnayā ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:7) “[The lord said]: O you of beautiful face, I’m not sleeping, rather, by the vision which sees (follows) the truth, I am contemplating by being fixed (nimagna) in my true form of lord Maheshvara (lord Shiva)“. Here Lakshmi gets perplexed to know that Vishnu was meditating within himself on something superior than him. higher than him. “śrīruvāca | bhavāneva hṛṣīkeśa dhyeyo’si yamināṃ sadā | tasmāttvattaḥ paraṃ yattacchrotuṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me ||14 carācarāṇāṃ lokānāṃ karttā harttā svayaṃ prabhuḥ | yathāsthitastato’nyatvaṃ yadi māṃ bodhayācyuta ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:14-15) “O Hrishikesha! You alone are always to be meditated upon by the self-controlled ones. Therefore, I have a great curiosity to hear from you, about that which is higher than you. O Achuta, tell me if there is something different fromyou who are the lord, the creator, and the destroyer of the world." now lord vishnu replied that Then Vishnu replies her saying that his ‘Vishnu’ form is actually illusionary (made of Maya) which is given the tasks of creation maintenance and withdrawal of the world. He tells her that the nature of his inner self is different from his body,the self is the form of the ‘Ishvara (lord maheswara)’, which can be known only through the unity with it. He says that this is what is told in Bhagavad Gita also. “śrībhagavānuvāca | māyāmayamidaṃ devi vapurme na tu tātvikam | sṛṣṭisthityopasaṃhārakriyājālopabṛṃhitam || 16 ato’nyadātmanorūpaṃ dvaitādvaitavivarjitam | bhāvābhāvavinirmuktamādyaṃtarahitaṃ priye ||17 śuddhasaṃvitprabhālābhaṃ parānaṃdaikasuṃdaram | rūpamaiśvaramātmaikyagamyaṃ gītāsu kīrtitam ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:16-18) “[Lord Vishnu said]: O goddess, this my body is illusionary and not real, and is augmented with the mass of the acts of creation maintenance and withdrawal. O dear one, the nature of the self is different form this. It is without duality andunity. It is free from existence and non-existence; and without beginning or end. It is pure consciousness, has acquired luster, is beautiful due to great joy, is the form of the Ishvara (lord maheswara)known only through unity with the self. Then goddess Lakshmi seeing an apparent contradiction enquires further as follows. “ityākarṇya vaco devi devasyāmitatejasaḥ | śaṃkamānā ha vākyeṣu parasparavirodhiṣu ||19 svayaṃ cetparamānaṃdamavāṅmanasagocaram | kathaṃ gītā bodhayati iti me cchiṃdhi saṃśayam ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:19-20) “Hearing the words of him of an unlimited lustre, goddes laksmi having doubt to contradictory statement said: ‘If you are highest joy, and not known through speech and mind, then how does Gita make you known. Remove this doubt of me!'”. Vishnu reveals a great secret about himself here. Recall from previous verse where he told Lakshmi that his form (as Vishnu) is just illusionary. Now he reveals about himself who he originally is! He tells that he is (originally) the Atman (self)which has two aspects - Higher (as nirguNa Shiva, the inactive, witness brahman) and lower (as the Ishvara, the active Brahman). He says that his Ishvara (active form) is of two types BOTH having five faces viz. Panchavaktra (sadashiva)and Maheshvara (kailasa-pati) Here in below verses Vishnu tells that Bhagavad Gita is all about the study or knowledge of Vishnu’s original forms of Shiva i.e., Sadashiva and Maheshvara. He had already said that his Vishnu-form is illusory, here he is revealing who he originally is! Yes, Vishnu is none other than Lord Shiva who assumes the illusionary form of Vishnu for the cosmic functions related with the world. What more can be true that the fact that the very Yajur Veda in the Sri Rudram has stated that it is Shiva who assumes the form of Vishnu - “namo giriśāya ca śipiviṣṭāya ca ||” (Yajur Veda IV:5:5:f), which means, “Salutations to Rudra who is the lord of the mountains and salutations to Rudra who is in the form of shipivishta (Vishnu)”. This same truth is being explained in detail by Vishnu himself in below verses. “ “īśvara uvāca | śriyaḥ śrutvā vacoyuktamitihāsapuraḥsaram | ātmānugāminīṃ dṛṣṭiṃ gītāṃ bodhitavānprabhuḥ ||20 ahamātmā pareśāni parāparavibhedataḥ | dvidhā tataḥ paraḥ sākṣī nirguṇo niṣkalaḥ śivaḥ ||21 aparaḥ paṃcavaktro’haṃ dvidhā tasyāpi saṃsthitiḥ | śabdārthabhedato vācyo yathātmāhaṃ maheśvaraḥ ||22 gītānāṃ vākyarūpeṇa yannirucchidyate dṛḍhaḥ | madīyapāśabaṃdho’yaṃ saṃsāraviṣayātmakaḥ ||23 yadābhyāsaparādhīnau paṃcavaktramaheśvarau | iti tasya vacaḥ śrutvā gītāsāramahodadheḥ ||24 idaṃ paravibhedena budhyate bhavabhīrubhiḥ | tamapṛcchadidaṃ lakṣmīraṃgapratyaṃgasaṃsthitam ||25 māhātmyaṃ setihāsaṃ ca sarvaṃ tasyai nyavedayat |26a” (Padma Purana:UK:175:20-26a) “[Lord Shiva said]: Having heard the proper words of Lakshmi, the lord vishnu told her the Gita, the vision leading one towards the self, along with an historical account. “O great lordess, I am the ‘self’ differentiated in two ways, - as higher and lower. The higher is a witness, attributeless, partless, Shiva. As the lower one, I‘panchavaktra (of five faces)’ it also remains in two forms. I and Maheshvara, am the self, am to be explained through the distinction in words and meanings, as, through the words of the Gita, my strong noose of the nature of objects in the worldly existence, is completely cut off; since (realization of my two forms) ‘Panchavaktra’ and ‘Maheshvara’, are dependent on its study“. Hearing these words of him (which were) the great ocean of essence of the Gita, those afraid of the worldly existence know it through the difference between this and that. Lakshmi asked thus to him. He told her about the Mahatmayam (greatness) along with the corresponding historical accounts (stories) in its major and minor details.”. Then Vishnu explains the swarUpa (form) of Bhagavad Gita itself. He says the eighteen chapters are the various body parts of the five faced lord Shiva. The first five chapters are the five faces of the lord Shiva. The next ten chapters are the ten hands The sixteenth chapter is the belly and the final two i.e., the seventeenth and eighteenth chapters are the two lotus like feet of the lord “śṛṇu suśroṇi vakṣyāmi gītāsu sthitimātmanaḥ ||26 vaktrāṇi paṃca jānīhi paṃcādhyāyānanukramāt | daśādhyāyā bhujāścaika udaraṃ dvau padāṃbuje ||27 evamaṣṭādaśādhyāyā vāṅmayī mūrtiraiśvarī | vijñeyā jñānamātreṇa mahāpātakanāśinī ||28 atodhyāyaṃ tadardhaṃ vā ślokamarddhaṃ tadardhakam | abhyasyati sumedhā yaḥ suśarmeva samucyate ||” ((Padma Purana:UK:175:26b-29) “[Lord Vishnu said]: O you, beautiful lady, I’ll tell you about my firm existence in the Gita. The five chapters are the five faces in order(five faced god sadashiva) the (ten) hands; one is the belly, and the (remaining) two are the lotus like feet. Thus the eighteen chapters are the divine forms of words. It, destroying great sins, should be known through knowledge only Therefore, he, the very intelligent one, who studies a chapter, or half of it, or a verse of a half-verse is liberated like Susharma’”. now lord vishnu had explained that different chapters of bhagwad geeta implies different body parts of god sadashiva who is lord shiva’s highest nirguna aspect. Now maheswara sadashiva/paraahiva's first five faces represent five fundamental gods, eshana(shankara),vamadeva(mahavishnu),tatpurusha(maheswara),sadyojata(brahma),aghora(rudra).five faces of maheswara parashiva are the first five chapter of bhagwad geeta so it is clear that manifestation of one face of sadashiva is vamadeva or lord vishnu. now people thinks that bhagwad geeta is only vishnu’s glory but in reality it is also lord shiva’s glory clearly explained by lord vishnu Maheswara sadashiv is the creator of all.

Daksha and Shankchur killed by Lord Shiva. According to Vedas (Shri Rudram) Lord Shiva (Mahakaal)- is Supreme Lord, Supreme Brahman, Supreme Purush. Lord Shiva is Supreme reality. Lord of Lords, Almighty, Sovereign, Formal Lord, Aadi, Ananta, Ajanma, Maheshwara, Sarveshwara, Yogeshwara, Mahadeva, Greatest, Nothingness, Auspicious one, formless, infinite, above everything & everyone. Rig Veda states - Lord Vishnu is Ancient God not Most Ancient God, nothing else. Nowhere in Rug Veda or any other Vedas, it’s mentioned that Lord Vishnu is self born, it didn’t states that Lord Vishnu is Supreme Lord or Param Brahman or Param Purush. Most importantly, Rig Vedas says that Rudra is the mightiest one, none is superior than ShreeRUDRA. Rudra is only one, nobody is their who could make him second. Rig Veda states Rudra is Supreme - PARAM BRAHMAN, even states RUDRA is Param Purush or Aadi Purush. Its also mentioned that all Gods bows in front of Shree Rudra who carries away Hari, its also mentioned greater than great is Brahma, greater than the Brahma is Vishnu & Greater than Vishnu is Rudra. Rudra is aadi and Anant, Rudra is source of everybody including Brahma and Narayana. All other Rudra are his servents of Shree Rudra or Maharudra. Vedas describes Shree Rudra as Lord of all Lords, clearly says all Devtas follows him and call him as Mahadeva. His is one who stays at Mountain, who wears Naag (Snake) as Necklace, loves to rub ash (Bhasam) on his body, who rides on his beloved bull (bhakat Nandi), who drank deadliest halahal poison (halahal kalkut during Samundar mantan) to save world & his devotees thats why everyone started calling him Neelkantha, for Rudra everyone is equal doesn’t they are Devtas or Rakshas / Human or Animal, his wife other half part of his soul - Rudra’s consort is Uma, Gauri, it states her 1st incarnation as youngest daughter of Prajapati Daksha (Manas Putar of Brahma) and her 2nd incarnation as daughter of King Himavat King of Himalayas - states that she takes Rudrani forms as Durga, Mahakaali & more, many times Vedas states that Rudra is only one that has uneven numbers of eyes and also states one who has 3rd eyes so whenever he got so angry & Rudra opened his 3rd eye to destroy Kam Deva into ashes - referred Rudra as Tryambaka or Trinetradhari, also states that nobody is immortal in front of Rudra who could destroy anyone. PROOF THAT VEDAS STATES LORD SHIVA - SHREE RUDRA IS MIGHTIEST AND SUPREME LORD OF ALL LORDS - MAHADEVA. Sri Rudra is the supreme Brahman according to Vedas. He is the mightiest and the supreme being as mentioned in Vedas. He is said to be the Lord of Yagnas, Mantras, and also the Lord of medicines. गा॒थप॑तिं मे॒धप॑तिं रु॒द्रं जला॑षभेषजम् । तच्छं॒योः सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ १.०४३.०४ To Rudra Lord of sacrifice, of hymns and balmy medicines, We pray for joy and health and strength. - Rig Veda, Mandala 1, 43rd Suktam. According to Vedas there is none mightier than Sri Rudra: अर्ह॑न्बिभर्षि॒ साय॑कानि॒ धन्वार्ह॑न्नि॒ष्कं य॑ज॒तं वि॒श्वरू॑पम् । अर्ह॑न्नि॒दं द॑यसे॒ विश्व॒मभ्वं॒ न वा ओजी॑यो रुद्र॒ त्वद॑स्ति ॥ २.०३३.१० Worthy, thou carriest thy bow and arrows, worthy, thy manyhued and honoured necklace. Worthy, thou cuttest here each fiend to pieces: a mightier than thou there is not, Rudra. - Rig Veda, Mandala 2, 33rd Suktam He is greater than Vishnu and Brahma as per the authentic Shiva Sankalpa Suktam found in Rig Veda Khila portion: परा᳚त् परत॑रो ब्र॒ह्मा॒ त॒त्परा᳚त् पर॒तो ह॑रिः । त॒त्परा᳚त् पर॑तो ऽधी॒श॒स्तन्मे॒ मनः॑ शि॒वस॑ङ्क॒ल्पम॑स्तु ॥ 18 Greater than the great is Brahma, greater than the great Brahma is Vishnu. Greater than the greater Vishnu is Isha (Shiva). May my thoughts be filled with Shiva. - Rig Veda Khila, Shiva Sankalpa Suktam, 18th Mantra. There is no one equal to Sri Rudra as per Yajur Veda. एक॑ ए॒व रु॒द्रो न द्वि॒तीया॑य तस्थे। Rudra is indeed the only one. There is none beside him who can make him a second. - Taittriya Samhita, 1st Khanda, 8th Praphataka. He is called as Supreme Brahman and twice in Yajur Veda Taittriya Aranyaka and also called as Purusha and Purushottama many times. He who is the embodiment of the cosmic order and truth. He is the supreme Brahman and the great Purusha. The one whose completion is both dark and orangie-red. The one who possesses the highest power and the one with an odd number of eyes. He is the one whose cosmic form covers the entire universe. - Yajur Veda, Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 10, 23rd Suktam. Also, the Mrityu Suktam which is found in Taittriya Aranyaka Chapter 3 and Chapter 10 call him Brahman. All the Gods follow this God who carries away Hari. He is the Lord of the Universe. He is the Supreme in His thoughts. This Supreme Brahman, who is the means, comes and receives the Yajamana. O Lord, be satisfied and do not destroy the means of submitting to You. Become forceful to destroy the evil forces in my path of submission to You. - Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 3, 15th Suktam. Everything in this creation is Sri Rudra, all this is born and yet to be born is Sri Rudra. He is the great Purusha. Verily everything and everyone is Rudra, salutations to the Rudra, who is the great Purusha, who is the light of consciousness within all beings, salutation to that Rudra. The material universe and the beings in this world are varied and numerous. All that is born and those who are yet to be born are Rudra indeed. All this is Rudra alone and to him, I bow down again and again. - Yajur Veda, Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 10, 24th Suktam. He is Purushottama: यो वै वेद महादेवं परमं पुरुषोत्तमम् । यः सर्व यस्य चित्सर्व तन्मे मनः शिवसंकल्पमस्तु ।। 22।। It is known that Mahadeva is the highest Purusha. All this is his consciousness, May my mind aspire towards Shiva. - Shiva Sankalpa Suktam, Rig Veda Khila Bhaga. He is the head or leader of Brahmanas, Brahma, and is present in everyone and in all forms of knowledge: ईशानः सर्व॑विद्या॒ना॒मीश्वरः सर्व॑भूता॒नां॒ ब्रह्माधि॑पति॒र्ब्रह्म॒णोऽधि॑पति॒र्ब्रह्मा॑ शि॒वो मे॑ अस्तु सदाशि॒वोम् ॥ Ishana is present in the form of all the Vidyas or knowledge, Ishvara is present in all the things of this Universe, he is the head of Brahma and Brahmanas. May that supreme Shiva be benign to me." - Yajur Veda, Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 10, 21st Suktam. He is the oldest and the youngest, i.e unborn as per Yajur Veda. नमो᳚ ज्ये॒ष्ठाय॑ च कनि॒ष्ठाय॑ च॒ Salutation to the oldest and to the youngest. - Taittriya Samhita, 4th Khanda, 5th Praphataka, 6th Anuvakam. He is the chief and the first. This means that none can give birth to Sri Rudra or exist before him, if someone gave birth to Mahadeva, then Sri Rudra cannot be the first. Whenever Rudra is called the son of someone or born from the head of Brahman, it is none other than Kala Rudra who is part of Trimurti. नमो॒ अग्रि॑याय च प्रथ॒माय॑ च॒ Salutation to the chief and to the first. - Taittriya Samhita, 4th Khanda, 5th Praphataka, 5th Anuvakam. He is Tryambaka: त्र्य॑म्बकं यजामहे सु॒गन्धिं॑ पुष्टि॒वर्ध॑नम् । उ॒र्वा॒रु॒कमि॑व॒ बन्ध॑नान्मृ॒त्योर्मु॑क्षीय॒ मामृता॑त् ॥ ७.०५९.१२ We adore the Father of the three worlds, Tryambaka ( who has three eyes), bestower of the all-sided fragrance of grace, increaser of fullness and strength. - Rig Veda, Mandala 7, 59th Suktam. He also has infinite eyes, legs, face, etc… स॒हस्र॑शीर्षा॒ पुरु॑षः सहस्रा॒क्षः स॒हस्र॑पात् । स भूमिं॑ वि॒श्वतो॑ वृ॒त्वाऽत्य॑तिष्ठद्दशाङ्गु॒लम् ॥१॥ A thousand heads hath Puruṣa, a thousand eyes, thousands of feet. I haven't gone through so many purans and other religious text but from physics point of view I think matter (Lord Shiva) and energy (goddess aadishakti) are equally important as matter cannot exist without energy and energy needs matter to manifest itself and they are interconvertible (E=mc^2) ..

read this secret of bhagwad geeta. who is the actual god of geeta? you read actual secret of bhagwad geeta and lord vishnu's yognidra. padma puran gave great secret of bhagwad geeta and yognidra of vishnu. Padma Purana, which is one of the so called ‘sAtWika purANa’, in its Uttara Khanda, there is a section dedicated to the discussion on the greatness of the Bhagavad Gita, i.e., gIta-mAhAtmayaM. It exists as a dialogue between Shiva and Parvati where Shiva narrates the glory of Gita as narrated by Vishnu to Lakshmi earlier.
In that context, Vishnu is shown sleeping on his snake bed deeply immersed in his inner-self. Lakshmi remains seated alongside and she enquires her husband about the reason why does he lazily remains on the bed sleepy as mentioned inthe below verse.
“śrīruvāca |śayālurasi dugdhābdhau bhagavankena hetunā | udāsīna ivaiśvaryaṃ jagaṃti sthāpayanniva ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:5) “O revered one, You, despite being the sustainer of the world, you being indifferent (passive) towards your glory, are sleeping on this milky ocean, what’s the reason behind this?”.
Then the lord vishnu replies that he wasn’t sleeping as such, he was in contemplation and was in communion with his true form of lord Shiva which is his indwelling spirit. from this it is clear that lord vishnu was always in communication with lord maheswar sadashiva through yogas.lord vishnu always medidate lord shiva in his yognidra.
śrībhagavānuvāca | nāhaṃ sumukhi nidrālurnijaṃ māheśvaraṃ vapuḥ | dṛśā tatvānuvarttinyā paśyāmyaṃtarnimagnayā ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:7)
“[The lord said]: O you of beautiful face, I’m not sleeping, rather, by the vision which sees (follows) the truth, I am contemplating by being fixed (nimagna) in my true form of lord Maheshvara (lord Shiva)“.
Here Lakshmi gets perplexed to know that Vishnu was meditating within himself on something superior than him. higher than him.
“śrīruvāca | bhavāneva hṛṣīkeśa dhyeyo’si yamināṃ sadā | tasmāttvattaḥ paraṃ yattacchrotuṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me ||14 carācarāṇāṃ lokānāṃ karttā harttā svayaṃ prabhuḥ | yathāsthitastato’nyatvaṃ yadi māṃ bodhayācyuta ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:14-15)
“O Hrishikesha! You alone are always to be meditated upon by the self-controlled ones. Therefore, I have a great curiosity to hear from you, about that which is higher than you. O Achuta, tell me if there is something different fromyou who are the lord, the creator, and the destroyer of the world."
now lord vishnu replied that Then Vishnu replies her saying that his ‘Vishnu’ form is actually illusionary (made of Maya) which is given the tasks of creation maintenance and withdrawal of the world. He tells her that the nature of his inner self is different from his body,the self is the form of the ‘Ishvara (lord maheswara)’, which can be known only through the unity with it. He says that this is what is told in Bhagavad Gita also.
“śrībhagavānuvāca | māyāmayamidaṃ devi vapurme na tu tātvikam | sṛṣṭisthityopasaṃhārakriyājālopabṛṃhitam || 16 ato’nyadātmanorūpaṃ dvaitādvaitavivarjitam | bhāvābhāvavinirmuktamādyaṃtarahitaṃ priye ||17 śuddhasaṃvitprabhālābhaṃ parānaṃdaikasuṃdaram | rūpamaiśvaramātmaikyagamyaṃ gītāsu kīrtitam ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:16-18)
“[Lord Vishnu said]: O goddess, this my body is illusionary and not real, and is augmented with the mass of the acts of creation maintenance and withdrawal. O dear one, the nature of the self is different form this. It is without duality andunity. It is free from existence and non-existence; and without beginning or end. It is pure consciousness, has acquired luster, is beautiful due to great joy, is the form of the Ishvara (lord maheswara)known only through unity with the self. Then goddess Lakshmi seeing an apparent contradiction enquires further as follows.
“ityākarṇya vaco devi devasyāmitatejasaḥ | śaṃkamānā ha vākyeṣu parasparavirodhiṣu ||19 svayaṃ cetparamānaṃdamavāṅmanasagocaram | kathaṃ gītā bodhayati iti me cchiṃdhi saṃśayam ||” (Padma Purana:UK:175:19-20)
“Hearing the words of him of an unlimited lustre, goddes laksmi having doubt to contradictory statement said: ‘If you are highest joy, and not known through speech and mind, then how does Gita make you known. Remove this doubt of me!'”.
Vishnu reveals a great secret about himself here. Recall from previous verse where he told Lakshmi that his form (as Vishnu) is just illusionary. Now he reveals about himself who he originally is! He tells that he is (originally) the Atman (self)which has two aspects - Higher (as nirguNa Shiva, the inactive, witness brahman) and lower (as the Ishvara, the active Brahman). He says that his Ishvara (active form) is of two types BOTH having five faces viz. Panchavaktra (sadashiva)and Maheshvara (kailasa-pati) Here in below verses Vishnu tells that Bhagavad Gita is all about the study or knowledge of Vishnu’s original forms of Shiva i.e., Sadashiva and Maheshvara.
He had already said that his Vishnu-form is illusory, here he is revealing who he originally is! Yes, Vishnu is none other than Lord Shiva who assumes the illusionary form of Vishnu for the cosmic functions related with the world. What more can be true that the fact that the very Yajur Veda in the Sri Rudram has stated that it is Shiva who assumes the form of Vishnu - “namo giriśāya ca śipiviṣṭāya ca ||” (Yajur Veda IV:5:5:f), which means, “Salutations to Rudra who is the lord of the mountains and salutations to Rudra who is in the form of shipivishta (Vishnu)”. This same truth is being explained in detail by Vishnu himself in below verses.

śriyaḥ śrutvā vacoyuktamitihāsapuraḥsaram | ātmānugāminīṃ dṛṣṭiṃ gītāṃ bodhitavānprabhuḥ ||20 ahamātmā pareśāni parāparavibhedataḥ | dvidhā tataḥ paraḥ sākṣī nirguṇo niṣkalaḥ śivaḥ ||21 aparaḥ paṃcavaktro’haṃ dvidhā tasyāpi saṃsthitiḥ | śabdārthabhedato vācyo yathātmāhaṃ maheśvaraḥ ||22 gītānāṃ vākyarūpeṇa yannirucchidyate dṛḍhaḥ | madīyapāśabaṃdho’yaṃ saṃsāraviṣayātmakaḥ ||23 yadābhyāsaparādhīnau paṃcavaktramaheśvarau | iti tasya vacaḥ śrutvā gītāsāramahodadheḥ ||24 idaṃ paravibhedena budhyate bhavabhīrubhiḥ | tamapṛcchadidaṃ lakṣmīraṃgapratyaṃgasaṃsthitam ||25 māhātmyaṃ setihāsaṃ ca sarvaṃ tasyai nyavedayat |26a” (Padma Purana:UK:175:20-26a)
“[Lord Shiva said]:
Having heard the proper words of Lakshmi, the lord vishnu told her the Gita, the vision leading one towards the self, along with an historical account. “O great lordess, I am the ‘self’ differentiated in two ways, - as higher and lower. The higher is a witness, attributeless, partless, Shiva. As the lower one, I‘panchavaktra (of five faces)’ it also remains in two forms. I and Maheshvara, am the self, am to be explained through the distinction in words and meanings, as, through the words of the Gita, my strong noose of the nature of objects in the worldly existence, is completely cut off; since (realization of my two forms) ‘Panchavaktra’ and ‘Maheshvara’, are dependent on its study“. Hearing these words of him (which were) the great ocean of essence of the Gita, those afraid of the worldly existence know it through the difference between this and that. Lakshmi asked thus to him. He told her about the Mahatmayam (greatness) along with the corresponding historical accounts (stories) in its major and minor details.”.
Then Vishnu explains the swarUpa (form) of Bhagavad Gita itself. He says the eighteen chapters are the various body parts of the five faced lord Shiva. The first five chapters are the five faces of the lord Shiva. The next ten chapters are the ten hands The sixteenth chapter is the belly and the final two i.e., the seventeenth and eighteenth chapters are the two lotus like feet of the lord
“śṛṇu suśroṇi vakṣyāmi gītāsu sthitimātmanaḥ ||26 vaktrāṇi paṃca jānīhi paṃcādhyāyānanukramāt | daśādhyāyā bhujāścaika udaraṃ dvau padāṃbuje ||27 evamaṣṭādaśādhyāyā vāṅmayī mūrtiraiśvarī | vijñeyā jñānamātreṇa mahāpātakanāśinī ||28 atodhyāyaṃ tadardhaṃ vā ślokamarddhaṃ tadardhakam | abhyasyati sumedhā yaḥ suśarmeva samucyate ||” ((Padma Purana:UK:175:26b-29)
“[Lord Vishnu said]:
O you, beautiful lady, I’ll tell you about my firm existence in the Gita. The five chapters are the five faces in order(five faced god sadashiva) the (ten) hands; one is the belly, and the (remaining) two are the lotus like feet. Thus the eighteen chapters are the divine forms of words. It, destroying great sins, should be known through knowledge only Therefore, he, the very intelligent one, who studies a chapter, or half of it, or a verse of a half-verse is liberated like Susharma’”.
now lord vishnu had explained that different chapters of bhagwad geeta implies different body parts of god sadashiva who is lord shiva’s highest nirguna aspect.
Now maheswara sadashiva/paraahiva's first five faces represent five fundamental gods, eshana(shankara),vamadeva(mahavishnu),tatpurusha(maheswara),sadyojata(brahma),aghora(rudra).five faces of maheswara parashiva are the first five chapter of bhagwad geeta so it is clear that manifestation of one face of sadashiva is vamadeva or lord vishnu. now people thinks that bhagwad geeta is only vishnu’s glory but in reality it is also lord shiva’s glory clearly explained by lord vishnu Maheswara sadashiv is the creator of all.

According to Vedas (Shri Rudram) Lord Shiva (Mahakaal)- is Supreme Lord, Supreme Brahman, Supreme Purush. Lord Shiva is Supreme reality. Lord of Lords, Almighty, Sovereign, Formal Lord, Aadi, Ananta, Ajanma, Maheshwara, Sarveshwara, Yogeshwara, Mahadeva, Greatest, Nothingness, Auspicious one, formless, infinite, above everything & everyone.
Rig Veda states - Lord Vishnu is Ancient God not Most Ancient God, nothing else. Nowhere in Rug Veda or any other Vedas, it’s mentioned that Lord Vishnu is self born, it didn’t states that Lord Vishnu is Supreme Lord or Param Brahman or Param Purush.
Most importantly, Rig Vedas says that Rudra is the mightiest one, none is superior than ShreeRUDRA. Rudra is only one, nobody is their who could make him second. Rig Veda states Rudra is Supreme - PARAM BRAHMAN, even states RUDRA is Param Purush or Aadi Purush.
Its also mentioned that all Gods bows in front of Shree Rudra who carries away Hari, its also mentioned greater than great is Brahma, greater than the Brahma is Vishnu & Greater than Vishnu is Rudra.
Rudra is aadi and Anant, Rudra is source of everybody including Brahma and Narayana.
All other Rudra are his servents of Shree Rudra or Maharudra. Vedas describes Shree Rudra as Lord of all Lords, clearly says all Devtas follows him and call him as Mahadeva.
His is one who stays at Mountain, who wears Naag (Snake) as Necklace, loves to rub ash (Bhasam) on his body, who rides on his beloved bull (bhakat Nandi), who drank deadliest halahal poison (halahal kalkut during Samundar mantan) to save world & his devotees thats why everyone started calling him Neelkantha, for Rudra everyone is equal doesn’t they are Devtas or Rakshas / Human or Animal, his wife other half part of his soul - Rudra’s consort is Uma, Gauri, it states her 1st incarnation as youngest daughter of Prajapati Daksha (Manas Putar of Brahma) and her 2nd incarnation as daughter of King Himavat King of Himalayas - states that she takes Rudrani forms as Durga, Mahakaali & more, many times Vedas states that Rudra is only one that has uneven numbers of eyes and also states one who has 3rd eyes so whenever he got so angry & Rudra opened his 3rd eye to destroy Kam Deva into ashes - referred Rudra as Tryambaka or Trinetradhari, also states that nobody is immortal in front of Rudra who could destroy anyone.
PROOF THAT VEDAS STATES LORD SHIVA - SHREE RUDRA IS MIGHTIEST AND SUPREME LORD OF ALL LORDS - MAHADEVA.
Sri Rudra is the supreme Brahman according to Vedas. He is the mightiest and the supreme being as mentioned in Vedas.
He is said to be the Lord of Yagnas, Mantras, and also the Lord of medicines.
गा॒थप॑तिं मे॒धप॑तिं रु॒द्रं जला॑षभेषजम् । तच्छं॒योः सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ १.०४३.०४
To Rudra Lord of sacrifice, of hymns and balmy medicines, We pray for joy and health and strength.

According to Vedas there is none mightier than Sri Rudra:

Worthy, thou carriest thy bow and arrows, worthy, thy manyhued and honoured necklace. Worthy, thou cuttest here each fiend to pieces: a mightier than thou there is not, Rudra.

He is greater than Vishnu and Brahma as per the authentic Shiva Sankalpa Suktam found in Rig Veda Khila portion:

Greater than the great is Brahma, greater than the great Brahma is Vishnu. Greater than the greater Vishnu is Isha (Shiva). May my thoughts be filled with Shiva.

There is no one equal to Sri Rudra as per Yajur Veda.
एक॑ ए॒व रु॒द्रो न द्वि॒तीया॑य तस्थे।
Rudra is indeed the only one. There is none beside him who can make him a second.

He is called as Supreme Brahman and twice in Yajur Veda Taittriya Aranyaka and also called as Purusha and Purushottama many times.
He who is the embodiment of the cosmic order and truth. He is the supreme Brahman and the great Purusha. The one whose completion is both dark and orangie-red. The one who possesses the highest power and the one with an odd number of eyes. He is the one whose cosmic form covers the entire universe.
- Yajur Veda, Taittriya Aranyaka, Chapter 10, 23rd Suktam.
Also, the Mrityu Suktam which is found in Taittriya Aranyaka Chapter 3 and Chapter 10 call him Brahman.
All the Gods follow this God who carries away Hari. He is the Lord of the Universe. He is the Supreme in His thoughts. This Supreme Brahman, who is the means, comes and receives the Yajamana. O Lord, be satisfied and do not destroy the means of submitting to You. Become forceful to destroy the evil forces in my path of submission to You.

Everything in this creation is Sri Rudra, all this is born and yet to be born is Sri Rudra. He is the great Purusha.
Verily everything and everyone is Rudra, salutations to the Rudra, who is the great Purusha, who is the light of consciousness within all beings, salutation to that Rudra. The material universe and the beings in this world are varied and numerous. All that is born and those who are yet to be born are Rudra indeed. All this is Rudra alone and to him, I bow down again and again.

It is known that Mahadeva is the highest Purusha. All this is his consciousness, May my mind aspire towards Shiva.

He is the head or leader of Brahmanas, Brahma, and is present in everyone and in all forms of knowledge:
ईशानः सर्व॑विद्या॒ना॒मीश्वरः सर्व॑भूता॒नां॒ ब्रह्माधि॑पति॒र्ब्रह्म॒णोऽधि॑पति॒र्ब्रह्मा॑ शि॒वो मे॑ अस्तु सदाशि॒वोम् ॥
Ishana is present in the form of all the Vidyas or knowledge, Ishvara is present in all the things of this Universe, he is the head of Brahma and Brahmanas. May that supreme Shiva be benign to me."

He is the oldest and the youngest, i.e unborn as per Yajur Veda.
नमो᳚ ज्ये॒ष्ठाय॑ च कनि॒ष्ठाय॑ च॒
Salutation to the oldest and to the youngest.

He is the chief and the first. This means that none can give birth to Sri Rudra or exist before him, if someone gave birth to Mahadeva, then Sri Rudra cannot be the first. Whenever Rudra is called the son of someone or born from the head of Brahman, it is none other than Kala Rudra who is part of Trimurti.

Salutation to the chief and to the first.

He is Tryambaka:

We adore the Father of the three worlds, Tryambaka ( who has three eyes), bestower of the all-sided fragrance of grace, increaser of fullness and strength.
