Coming along nicely, enjoying the videos as always, great work.👍🏻 looking forward to the final reveal, thank you for bringing us on this journey with you.
This is so awesome to watch the progress on this style of ecto!! From what I've rwad/hurd this car is still out there on its nlack and gray primer paint.... very sweet!!! The original owner that rented it to be used in the film drove it too the local drive in for the 1st time screening of Ghostbusters!!!
I also heard that they painted the car black and grey without even asking him lol. Could you imagine sitting in that car watching the first screening? Insane
@@ghostbusterspluscollector9624 right!!! Totally!!! I couldn't imagine!!!!! And there was damage to the bumper if I remember correctly? LoL he printed to no ghost logo out of paper and taped them on the car said night at drive in. Could you imagine what some people at that drive in were thinking when that car showed up on the big screen!!! Epic!!!! LoL
@@ghostbusterspluscollector9624 You welcome my friend! Its much appreciated to see someone take on a project like this. Got a question❓ Do you happen to know how to access the wiring for the taillights? I received my Ecto back last month, and unfortunately, I'm experiencing an issue with my left taillight. Initially, two LEDs were not working, but I managed to get the top cone lights to work again. However, the problem persists with the left large bottom taillight, which contains four individual LEDs, and one single light is still not functioning. There is access to the box up front where the control board is located. I just can't figure out how to access the wiring that runs back to the lights.
I might try but I think I explain in part 5 that it might not be worth the risk of trying it and messing the door and hood up bad. Still debating on it.

Super Cool
Thanks!
Right now, she kinda look like Ecto-1 before restoration.
Keep it up.
That’s what I was thinking lol kinda like it! Thanks for the kind words 👍🏻
Get the 2016 ecto 1 toy it has the red lens
Awesome :D
Thanks!
Are you going to remove the vents on the hood and back door?
I might try but I think I explain in part 5 that it might not be worth the risk of trying it and messing the door and hood up bad. Still debating on it.
What method did you use to remove the decals?
Goo Gone and a razor blade to start it. But the Goo Gone does take some of the weathering brown paint off.
Ok, cool, thanks for the reply. This is looking really good man! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project!
