- The name Paul Kalkbrenner is inextricably linked with electronic dance music. The now iconic artist emerged in Berlin at the height of the golden age of techno. His first album, Superimpose, was released in 2001. His music is full of hypnotic melodies, powerful beats and incredible energy.
Filmed on 1 December 2023 at the Fairground Festival in Hanover, Germany.

Paule Keule, Schnurbi als Intro ist einfach nur das Beste! Das hat mich schon in Wuhlheide umgehauen...das war immer meine Vorstellung wie du deine Show einleitest.... das kannst du immer so machen. Absolut GEIL!

Try Stephan Bodzin! Not to say one is better than the other. He got his very own unique style. But also very passionate and expressive when producing as well as live. Fatboy Slim is also a machine, totally different style tho.

Bodzin and Kalkbrenner actually played right after each other at the Festival I visited in 2019. Amazing experience!

@@mck6410 Wie kann man denn so wenig Empathie haben wie Du? Wer weiß, welche schön-traurigen Momente in ihrem Leben sie mit diesen Liedern verbindet. Der Sinn des Lebens ist leben und für mich gibt es kaum etwas Schöneres, als das "Glück" in den Augen der Menschen zu sehen, die einfach gerade eine schöne Zeit haben.

Brenner…its like he never knows what track to play next or when to drop the beat but it just works…his timing…his sublime tracks self produced…he is a Maestro…Live dj..incredibly unique style!
this is absolutely amazing. His live sets carry such a dynamic energy to them. It feels like an art performance more than just a "dj set," like you can actually tell that this man is an artist in his heart and soul. that level of artistic and creative expression and his passion for what he's doing is felt in the emotive atmosphere of his sets. you can tell that people are lost in the music, like he's taking them on a journey. i can't wait until i can (hopefully) see him someday, if he ever comes over to the states!

Meine engsten Freund und ich sind 96' Baujahr. Pauls Songs haben uns durch die wilden Zeiten 14'-18' so geprägt. Welchen Mist man damals gebaut hat, aber Paule war immer dabei.
Sky und Sand bleibt der legendäre hit. Im Suff, Stoned, auf Teilen oder sonstigen Substanzen war er da. Am 08.08 gehts dann zum ersten mal live zu ihm nach Dortmund.
Ich war live dabei hab immer noch Gänsehaut bester DJ der Welt
Paul Kalkbrenner live ist der Wahnsinn und dann auch noch hier auf YT. In Gedanken zahle ich mein Rundfunkbeitrag nur für euch, das lohnt sich nämlich richtig!
