The 4 colour system is a simple one to remember and importantly is easy to apply practically in the workplace. I particularly like that there are insights into the good, bad, and ugly days that people experience which can really help to improve communication and understanding within a team.

You're very right - these are not static labels but preferences that we can flex into (or may default to) in different situations. They're a starting point for self reflection.

No wonder my boss (who is blue) and I (who is yellow) would butt heads!!!

And the funnier thing is if you both “flip out” under extreme stress, you’ll be come each others colours (for the bad day profile). So yellow tends to switch to lists and detail, blue flips to yellow!

How do people score yellow personality results? Do they write down they don't give a shit about anything?

lol no! My profile is actually yellow! It’s more about those who prefer a 1 to many connection rather than a 1:1 interaction. If you tend to focus more on creativity, possibility, hypotheticals and less on rules, process and structure then you tend to land on yellow. Green is more caring about individuals whereas yellow is more abstract and groups.

I mean, in terms of the questions that are asked in the test, I only remember the test asking effectively if a person was going to look for the correct answer or just move ahead without it. Maybe I am mistaken.
