The lady who allows her kids to tell her no, that's how i raised my children. My kids ages are 21,19 and 15. I always get compliments on how well behaved they have always been. I tell them that i will always do all that i can for them because they didn't ask to come into this world, it was my choosing, so i am responsible for their happiness and wellbeing.

If I remember correctly, he was a lawyer, and had a case from Oprah, who then gave him his show, in fact in the the tv show "Bull" is kinda based on what kind of thing Dr. Phil did.
He has a PhD in psychology but he hasn’t renewed his license for a while. So he can’t legally be a psychologist in the state of California (where the shows are filmed)

Yeah. And if she might not have known she lied. Here's why, if what she said was true, we can assume this is what happened. She said she went on and lied to the producers about her story. So maybe bc they had arranged for her to go on and they couldn't get anybody else on due to the need to air an episode, they had to write a script for her. When I'm a parent I probably would do this to and and if they reign do it in the next say 4 days I wouldn't let them say no again, but maybe that's just me because my mom shoves things down my throat and I don't really get to make any choices 😊
when parents dont let us say no we lose the sense of control over our life which is one symptom of different mental illnesses. we also grew up not allowed to say no to adults so in the future that's going to be hard to do. if more of us got to say no, we would likely have more sense of control over our own lives and not feel like we can't do anything about our situations we get in.
