REMINDERS BEFORE CUTTING YOUR HAIR

 not colored/permed/rebonded [Processed hair is too dry, weak, brittle, and coarse. It breaks, tangles, and sheds easily, splitting ends during the manufacturing of the prosthesis]
 atleast 12 inches [It presents tremendous difficulty if the hair strands are too short to sew and secure to the Medical Cap]
 if layered, shortest strand must be atleast 12inches
 If part processed, the processed part must be cut off and the remaining hair would still be enough for the minimum length of 12 inches.
 Hair cut years ago is usable if it has been stored in a ponytail or braid.
 Hair that is swept off of the floor is not usable because it is not bundled in a ponytail or braid.
 If shaving your head, first divide hair into multiple ponytails to cut off.
 Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut.
 Hair must be clean and completely dry before it is cut and mailed in.
