I absolutely love this song; both versions are fantastic and I listen to them both equally. That riff whilst Spencer sings "exhale your death and feel life" gives me dem djent chills.
I currently have this, and the vocals only version of this track, playing at exactly the same time. Tinkering with the volume to cut out either the instruments or the vocals and it's cool as fuck. The reason i'm writing this is because i fear i will never have them both this perfectly in sync ever again.
4:33-502 .....fuck! That riff should repeat for eternity somewhere ....so anyone could go there anytime they want to think about someone or something they have lost and feel better about it...if that makes any sense .....good riff
I wish all artists would provide instrumentals with their albums, not that spencer is bad I just prefer some of their songs without him singing. Cheers for this upload dude, love it 👌
Wandering below the hadean seal Shaking, mortified, making my way back to nowhere This skeletal mask brings a demon of the day There never would have been a light if the messenger in still life had regard for the son of the damaged soul Send the mirror falling Heavens see that this man once had value among all the golden But eccentric revisions in life brought on decay Take submission from a man in control Set the sail blowing, search for peace A loose feeling consuming me Blood is spent A token for my sacrifice Fallen angel, you speak my name The needle turns, the hourglass is spinning around Give it, I want it... a sense of a fucking life I can almost feel mine at home Selfish cries I am diseased Let it pour out and show what has healed One can finally find what's left in this masochistic personality In a holy bond we live Take a breath for seconds in this moment Sail upon the open skies Exhale your death and feel life, like water raining from above Majestic aura Take in my breath and lock eyes with a world once absent of your love Majestic aura Blood is spent A token for my sacrifice The tortured realm has released my name I can feel my body parting with this world Rebirth is starting from within I'm born some place beyond your time Selfish cries Flaunt disease Own what's mine Death upon my knees Let it pour out and show what has healed One can finally find what's left inside this masochistic personality In a holy bond we live Take a breath for seconds in this moment Sail upon the open skies Floating up above the hadean seal Sounds of ambient voices will lead me from nowhere This skeletal mask brings a demon of the day
Such beauty. By the way, noticed how the strings and the bells at the end are not there? Why did they omit it from the producer pack version? One could do a full instrumental by merging the last ~1 minute of the original with this.
That's because the ending of Stranger Things on the album is exactly the beginning of A Black Minute, so it doesn't belong to this song technically. ;)
Well, for me, it's an organic part of Stranger Things. 1) It completes the frame-like structure of Juggernaut and 2) it is also a sign of birth, which (depending on how you interpret the story, but this my semi-official understanding) is not the same birth as the one in A Black Minute, but a new one. "I'm born some place beyond your time."
That’s just a production trick. That little melody at the end is actually a completely separate song. They just overlapped it with the ending of this song. It looks like this: Here is stranger things. Here is A Black Minute. Kinda get it? It’s called cross fading. Really clever technique to blur your music together.
ChazMcDevitt i would recommend the juggernaut studio updates (there are six parts), they show some pedals used in this song (on the part 6 I think). They messed with lots of them on juggernaut

Exactly my favorite as well. In fact, that's the first Periphery riff I can play.
Like water RAINING FROM ABOVE
Spencer only adds to the music, but listening to the instrumentals really shows how well constructed these songs are
Ooooh man I love Spencer's vocals to death, especially in this track, but there's guitar tracks layered beneath his vox which are absolutely delicious
I could listen from 3:20 till 3:50 for the rest of my life. That fucking groove tho
It's so fucking tight
I THINK it's the same as the groove in the second chorus of The Bad Thing, after the guitar solo
same here, the combination of that heavy riff and that perfect melody on top is just too perfect
My favourite part of this absolute banger
That part is gold.
4:33 Jakey at his best
nothing like a jazzy break to shatter your expectations

If you've successfully done that you've achieved everything in life mate
just amazing....I have no words. by far my favorite Periphery song.

Wandering below the hadean seal
Shaking, mortified, making my way back to nowhere

Send the mirror falling
Heavens see that this man once had value among all the golden
But eccentric revisions in life brought on decay
Take submission from a man in control
Set the sail blowing, search for peace
A loose feeling consuming me
Blood is spent
A token for my sacrifice
Fallen angel, you speak my name
The needle turns, the hourglass is spinning around
Give it, I want it... a sense of a fucking life
I can almost feel mine at home
Selfish cries
I am diseased
Let it pour out and show what has healed
One can finally find what's left in this masochistic personality
In a holy bond we live
Take a breath for seconds in this moment
Sail upon the open skies
Exhale your death and feel life, like water raining from above
Majestic aura
Take in my breath and lock eyes with a world once absent of your love
Majestic aura
Blood is spent
A token for my sacrifice
The tortured realm has released my name
I can feel my body parting with this world
Rebirth is starting from within
I'm born some place beyond your time
Selfish cries
Flaunt disease
Own what's mine
Death upon my knees
Let it pour out and show what has healed
One can finally find what's left inside this masochistic personality
In a holy bond we live
Take a breath for seconds in this moment
Sail upon the open skies
Floating up above the hadean seal
Sounds of ambient voices will lead me from nowhere
This skeletal mask brings a demon of the day
This is dope
Ok i will also add.....amazing....misha u are cool............super cool

Any suggestions on how to get that intro tone? Like a certain reverb?

Loyalty_SyN ill have to go back and watch it, i have the Afterneath reverb but i think they used something else for the intro.
To me it sounds like reverb, delay and a couple of guitars layered on top of each other to make it sound like a single guitar
you need a $300 pedal for that shit
One love
How can I download this edit?! Anyone know??

DUUUDE... O.O
tbh this song is great but it gets almost better instrumental.
now if only periphery was pure instrumental like animal as leaders
@@osnad yeah wouldn't be the same
@@WhoAmIWill Absolomb was originally without him and should be kept that way
Not the same without Spencer’s sexy vocals :/
I`m fucking shitt
U guys are off the hook.....
No offense to Spencer but periphery is just way better instrumental
