It blows my mind that there's already generation getting nostalgic about playing GTA V on their Xbox360/PS3 listening to the soundtrack.
It's been 6 years I remember buying this game and Batman Arkham origins for Christmas of 2013
Almost 6 years
I was 11 years old when GTA V came out. I played GTA 3, Vice City,San Andreas,Advance,Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, GTA IV, GTA TBGT, GTA TLAD but at that time, i never played GTA V. In 2014, i begged my mom so she could buy that game for my 12th birthday. She bought me but by internet so i needed to wait. The day i received it, i was so happy, i was jumping everywhere in my house. My mom told me i could stay home since she was gonna go to Paris with my sister (im french and my family dentist is in Paris and when she go to Paris, i didnt had the house keys so i could stay). I played GTA V all day and i was so amazed with the graphics. I was a bit upset that most of the map was just empty and the characters wasnt like GTA 4 where they were so realistic. The missions werent that good but i still enjoyed the game just because the adrealine, i dont know if you understand. I stopped playing the story mode and i only finished in debut 2015 (i could literally finish the story mode in one day if didnt stopped).
The Online Mode at that time was starting to be trash but it wasnt that trashy. I always prefered to play with adults rather than kids of my age because i was a true GTA player, i played every one except the 1, London and the 2. Only adults got my experience of gaming. When i wanted to play an online mode, i would just start to switch to GTA IV.
Now, im almost 17 (24th September is my birthday). Life changed so much and i still miss those times where i could just play GTA V with that adrealine, that feel that i dont have anymore. Today, when i play GTA V, im just bored because the story mode isnt that good (its very easy for me seriously) and the online mode is cancer. I still play GTA IV and yesterday, i was still doing the story mode of GTA IV because its great and im a very nostalgic person. I miss those times seriously. Life was so easy in 2014.

If you ignore the Online community, V’s single player story mode was one hell of an adventure. It’s definitely up there with San Andreas and IV.

It’s been 7 years since GTA 5 came out. I was 12 at that time living with my parents in my hometown Boston.
Since then I’ve graduated, got my first job, moved to Seattle, and have started going to college (despite hating the idea when I was 12). In a blink of an eye things changed so fast.
I’m 18 now and even though I don’t talk with my GTA friends now, the memories of joyriding around the airport and doing heists will always stay with me.

Michael was like a father to franklin, he helped franklin get money, and they were the best of friends, before michael died he invited franklin to go have dinner with him.
Trevor is by far the most loyal out of all 3 of the characters, a lot of people kill him because they think hes just aggressive and all but he has a heart.
This is why Deathwish is the canonical ending. Confirmed during the Diamond Casino Heist update in GTA Online, which takes place months after GTA V's ending. In it, Tao Cheng mentions that he nearly got killed at the Pacific Bluffs Beach Club when his father (Wei Cheng) was assassinated, Ron talks about Trevor still doing meth on the side and the de Santas are still in town.
Jimmy was in a couple or few cutscenes In online on the Diamond Casino Heist Update so at least Endings A & B for Story mode are non canon.
Franklin was an asshole in Ending B
Trevor is not loyal he is an asshole. He has a bad impact on Michael since he repeatedly makes him committing crimes although Michael doesn't want that because he has started a new life with family etc

All the friends I played with and made in online are immeasurable. Many of them gone, but I’ll be damned if I ever forget them and the fun times we had throughout this game’s long life.

I know that feeling, the feeling of being close to someone online and then them slipping away cuts a hole in you. That's how things run in online games I guess, your online friends may still remember you even after disappearing. They probably still wished they said their last goodbyes after deciding gta online was a game to move on from.

+Markustaja no it's not I play this game still I love it, but the way rockstar went into the game the updates they are free that's great but they over priced everything so you can buy shark cards and they patch fun glitches that are launched or clothing

+dalton crawford the updates and dlc:s only make everything better. We got heist now, we have been waiting so long for them. And gta is not overpriced, it's really easy to make money if u r patient. It's still really fun to play with friends. Gate glitch getting patched was really sad 'cause it was a classic but the other ones i don't really care about tbh

I remember watching the trailers for GTA V. I thought to myself “damn, there’s still 4 years until it’s released”. Always dying of anxiety. I wondered what it would be like to play it, what was going to be in the game that wasn’t in GTA IV, such as working convertible tops and a gym. And now, over five years of playing the hell out of it, I know for sure that it was the best game I’ve ever played. I won’t ever forget the memories that both the storyline and GTA Online brought me. Certainly some of the best in my life.

Game came out my 2nd year of college, I was 18. Started having panic attacks and when on my way to class I would play this and other songs from the sound track to help calm me down.
Now I’m 29, gotta take meds for my anxiety but this music still helps and the feeling of joy when the game dropped always give me bittersweet nostalgia.
Nostalgia of growing up with friends but also dealing with severe panic attacks. Overall this stuff helps more than it hurts.

GTA6 is in dev since 2013-2014 Like GTA5 has been in work for 2008-2013 and GTA4 2005-2008. When the game is released just look at the copyright and if the date are 2013-2021 for example then i was right which is probably the case
but you cannot apply the development time laws to gta 5 because after its relese the team was still working on porting the game to ps4 xbox one and pc and after that for the longest time almost all of the team worked for gta online and its only recently rumours are coming out about rockstar just starting work in the next gta, not to say gta 6 is gona take a large step up from gta 5 which is gona take a really long time to do
No just no GTA5 New Gen versions are not being ported by the same team and not all of the team stayed on the Online,that would mean atleast 1000 people and by the look of the dlc's content i don't think that 1000 people can only produce 15 cars and shit like this so you're clearly mistaking. And you should know by now that rumours on Rockstar newest games are always rare and kinda false. The new RDR2 has been in work since 2010 but between those years they were more than 3 games released so they can work on more than one project so the same can be said for GTA6 and RDR2 is being developped by all of the Rockstar Games studios and i think they help each other with their own projects like San Diego help Rockstar North with driving physics for example because they're the devs of Midnight Club. And if we assume the work on GTA6 has only been started in 2016-2018 that would mean 5 years of no new GTA + 7 years that's 12 years between the last and the new that's completly stupid

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has always had a record of being an excellent game, it has made us all laugh, get mad, and now even meet new people, Rockstar Games sure knows how to create a Masterpiece, it's no wonder they are the ones making this truly fantastic game that we all have grown to know and love.
