Step 1: record lines in Audacity Step 2: copy the recording and paste it as a second layer Step 3: reduce volume by 1-2 db for the second layer Step 4: first layer gets an echo effect set to .05, and the second layer gets a Paulstretch effect. These cover the mechanical, yet mysterious/mystical effects I’d imagine the iterators to sound like. Step 5: export. Bonus step: in the video editor, I added some extra echo for the anger sections for extra emphasis. This isn’t exactly necessary and it’s just something I felt like doing.
