- In this video I am going to build the excellent Rubicon Models Sd.Kfz 250 kit and add the expansion to make it a 250/8.
I rather enjoyed building this kit and would certainly recommend it.
Let me know what you think in the comments! How would you paint it? Have you built it too? Did your head explode because I mis-named some parts?

The "smoke discharger" thing is the convoy light. It's got four tiny slits for light in two pairs. If the following vehicle perceives two spots of light, he's at the right following distance. If he can see all four distinctly, he's too close, if they all blur into one spot of light, he's too far away.

The machineguns are MG-42s not MG-34s. MG-34 has round barrel jacket, MG-42 has square barrel jacket.

The rods at the front are width indicators set to the widest part of the vehicle.

Yes, I watched several videos he's done before I saw a picture of him. I definitely didn't expect him to look like a death metal drummer. Again, as you say, I don't see that as a negative, just a little bit of a surprise.
Really nice model and it also turned out great, but I always ask myself what glue you are using.
In this video it's Tamiya Extra Thin. Currently I'm using SMS extra thin which is pretty much the same thing.

hey, i've just found a chinese company called s-model, its cheap and the models all have photo etch in them. the quality are very nice. you should try it!
