I honestly stopped playing locals due to financial circumstances and ended up playing pokemon online. The tcg gives you so many good free decks to play, doesn't charge you real money to buy in-game currency, and rewards players for grinding. And you can even play in tournaments like Master Duel, but get cash money rewards. Yugioh is getting wild as hell for all the wrong reasons
I have to thank the tcg players that did not quit the game over the years, otherwise, we would not have master duel. This is so funny though. Every other format Konami wants people to sell a kidney to compete and, while that is happening, me and many others are on master duel with 20+ decks as f2p. It is so crazy.
Konami absolutely know what they are doing. They intentionally print broken cards to force people to buy new product, and then simply ban the cards later so people have to move on to the next big deck. Rinse and repeat.

I honestly think that Muskets might be the best pairing for Fiendsmith both engines sync into each other so well, and Musket has just some of the most insane cards ever printed in its deck. Starfire plus Tractus is literally Caesar, 3 link Dies Irae, Last Stand, Caspar, and Starfire.
While we only have 1 Soul of Shavara(at least now) it can also basically allow any fiend deck to pivot into Unchained before using normal summon Use The Fiendsmith for fusion spell->Add Fabled then pitch fabled Make Requiem->Tribute for another Fiend Smith->SS the fiendsmith from GY->Make Link 2, fusion summon the level 6 Fiendsmtih fusion->SS a Copy of Fiendsmith from GY->Make Yama with Link+Fusion then start using Unchained stuff

Yes, and unlike in the OCG where the two Tier Zero got mitigated already, reducing Fiendsmith's potency, you TCG lads will be facing the Full Brunt of this degeneracy train without any breaks. Good luck.
You missed something...the Fiendsmith Engine gives any deck access to 4 Interrupts on it's own, Top Hat Hare + Angel Statue + 2 D/D/D High wave king cesar

Beatrice is getting a hard ban (hopefully, and not a pointless limited). To be honest, it was a long time coming. Foolish burial, a generic but unsearchable spell that can only mill a monster, is still limited. And for good reasons. Shoot, it can still be seen in meta decks and can often results in one card combo. Beatrice is a Foolish on legs, that can mill anything every turn, per material. Which can lead to a bunch of shenanigans long before fiendsmith. Namely tear combos and disruption, along with the transaction rollback mishaps, and really any graveyard related strategy. But because of that new archetype, there is now a complete justification to ban Beatrice.
Beatrice is already Limited. But it needs to be banned. The only reason it dodged it for so many years is due to being Rank 6 with its alternative Summon condition that nerfs it. It's practically the same as Lavalval Chain and to a lesser extent Curious though Curious' properties as a Link monster opened up easier degenerate plays like the various Knightmare Gryphon strats.
Man, I love generic combo starters. Just you wait til the new round of Extra monsters that can summon themselves by sending the material straight from hand/deck to grave/banish, naturally, no cost besides including the material. (Honestly, that buff could go to all the old Normal fusions with Normal materials, and it probably wouldn't break too much, if it took up your Normal summon or something)

Leave Rollback out of this. The only deck that can do something close to what Beatrice does is Paleo. Just ban Bea and maybe the Maya trap
