This book proves your growth as a junk journalist. It’s not always the crowds growth but it is your growth as an artist. It’s fun to look back at my early art. This video also reminded me I’ve hv not used my coffee table papers in a while. Needed this reminder. Thanks! Hv fun today everyone!

Thank you for the journey through one of your first journals. You have grown a lot in your journal making.
Having you to show us what you have learned through your own trials and errors has been so helpful to those of us just starting. It has prevented some mistakes that newbies make (not all but some).
I watched a lot of videos from you and others before I took the plunge in the JJ world. So I knew what glue to use for the different materials and papers. That's a biggie to know.
The fun thing with this hobby is there are always new things to learn.

Beautiful journal! It doesn't matter if you didn't leave space for writing. Because you didn't want to write in it. It was a wonderful collection of images, interesting book pages, and ads to read. It was colorful and exciting to flip thru. Happy crafting! Hugs for Sunny!

Pam there are so many cute ideas in this journal. I'm glad you decided to go through it on camera. Love the journaling card with the hats ad, the flower picture sewn to the blue paper is so great and the index card with lace is beautiful!! Everything in there is nice. Love it. I absolutely luv it when I get to work and I always sit in my Runner 45 mins before going upstairs’. Pam and Sunny make my day doable after watching them before going up. Luv the both and Pam you silly gal I adore how you say it like it is and how what happens, happens. Sort of like what is done on Pams table stays on Pams table. I remember all of these ideas! I binge watched your channel back then; and I made junk journals for all four of my children for Christmas in 2019 or 2020. I got burned out on junk journal making and hadn't made another one until this week, when my granddaughter asked for one for her birthday.

Thank you for rescuing and releasing the tiny frog. Tell Sonny that it wasn't a baby--baby frogs are tadpoles, after all--but was likely a tree frog, which are tiny with great big voices. So interesting seeing your early journal.

Hi Pam & Sunshine! This is so cool to look back at your old junk journals & see all the neat things you made back then. The cover is very pretty & all the nifty ephemera you made. Love those index cards with the lace on them. The pretty pictures are cool. You did a great job on it! I love it when you go back & look at one of your first junk journals. You could go back through & add touches of things you do now & fix a few things where the glue is coming undone, then right in it that you redid it & put the date you did by where your name & date is already! Maybe take pictures before you start. You could take a pic of what you did back then. Then take pics of what you did to it now. That would be cool. I found a tall jj I had made a few years ago. It was all together & some pages done but no ephemera in it yet. I think it might of been one of your tutorials & we used jumk mail & some other book pages & scrapbooking pages, coffee dyed papers & magazines, thingssome music paper, etc! So I've been trying to put some pockets, belly bans, tucks & making tags, covered clips, some little paper odds & ends stapled or glued & pockets galore! I'm having fun with it. Also, I'm making a kind of some stationary papers & ephemera & pockets, etc, for a friend! I think it's pretty cool. It's kind of grungee, I hope she likes it! I'm going to have to make myself one! It's all collage & put ring stains from ink & a small bottle, then some rusty color paste rub or rolled on with a stick or could used an old paint brush a small one. Also stamped with walnut ink. I cut books pages about 1/4" to a 1/2" of phone book pages to go on the edges all around. I really like that look! Ok, thanks so much for showing your old junk journals. It was fun! ♥️😉🫂🐾🌹🍄🧵🧶✏️📓🦋✨️

It honestly looks like one of those premade Dylusions book shells that they make? Maybe I actually just found those a couple of weeks ago and was so excited lol but they come plain and so maybe it was one of those premade jackets?
Sadly too many ads spoiling the enjoyment of looking at your journal which I found truly inspirational! Thank you for this journey into your early scrapbooking journey Pam. I do like memorabilia uncluttered, better to appreciate the history of bygone years.
TH-cam premium is great, especially if you watch a lot of TH-cam videos! No ads! I could never go back to free TH-cam. It doesn't make a lot of sense to get premium if you don't use TH-cam a lot but if you do, it's definitely worth it! Plus you can get a 30 day free trial!
