Yes, and there is always something new and interesting to discover. One of my favourite places was THE PLACE, I used to work nearby, so many shops and cafes and things to see there. I lived for a time near Dawanglu, then later in a Hutong next to Jingshan Park. I very often used to hang out at Sky Avenue (above Oriental Plaza Shopping Centre) in Wangfujing. I really do miss it and wish I were still there. It became my home.
Yes the city is huge with new things every week! I am not familier with The Place but it looks amazing! I hope you can travel again to Beijing and enjoy the city again! The most impressive part for me is the subway network which has been developed in a very quick way with high standards of security and confort @@junosaxon4370
