us has k300-atx2, which already has built-in speakers, I think it is the same as "Aures" if you don't care about the touchscreen and the price should be much lower. I just bought one : ), good luck.
Can you play the digital piano on the atx3 without the headphones like you demonstrated here? Is that the main difference between aures and atx3? Thanking you. Am considering buying this.
The acoustic obviously needs to be in tune if you want to overlay its sound with the digital. In any case, you should keep your piano always in tune to avoid issues and prolong its longevity.
Great question! Unlike a Grand piano which uses una corda (moving the hammers over so that they only strike one string) all upright pianos the soft pedal to move the hammers closer to the strings meaning that they have less momentum when they strike, thus decreasing the volume. This does have a small affect on the action because the initial key travel is not moving the hammer until it reaches it's new position, but none of our piano experts were able to detect a difference in the feel unless they were playing unusually lightly.
Kawai seems to be the most progressive company out there for digital pianos.

I think the mecanism millenium3 is one of the most atractive of Kawai pianos. ABS carbono is really less weight than wood.

How does it feel and sound compared to CS11 and Novus NV10?
Same digital piano sound but the overall tone is different because it uses the natural material of the soundboard for amplification
