- ‘어느 날 우리 집 현관으로 멸망이 들어왔다’의 주인공 ‘멸망’으로 차가움과 따뜻함을 오가는 마성의 온도 차로 사랑받고 있는 서인국이 참여한 마지막 OST가 드디어 공개된다.
드라마 방영과 함께 알려진 서인국의 OST 참여 소식에 많은 팬들의 기대감을 모은 이번 곡에는, 서인국이 노래 뿐 아니라 직접 곡 작업에 참여하여 더욱 화제가 되었다.
서인국은 작사와 작곡에 모두 참여하였으며, 초월적 존재 ‘멸망’의 ‘동경’(박보영 분)에 대한 감정의 서사를 완벽히 표현해내며 이 곡을 통해 시리고 아픈 한 남자의 마음을 담담하게 표현해냈다.
또한, 아이유 ’좋은 날’, ’잔소리’, ’너랑 나’, 이선희의 ‘그 중에 그대를 만나’ 등의 히트곡으로 대중들에게 많은 사랑을 받아온 김이나가 작사에 함께 참여해 곡의 완성도를 높였다.
‘아득한 먼 훗날 우리가’는 절제된 감정을 그린 서인국의 보컬과 뒷받침하는 최소한의 악기들이 어우러져, 멀리 바라보는 깊은 사랑의 감정을 아련한 멜로디로 표현한 곡이다. 이 곡은 반복되는 후렴 가사를 섬세한 감정 표현으로 이끌어가며, 애절하지만 담담하게 그저 자신의 마음을 조금씩 꺼내어 보여주며 이야기하고 있다.

I confess I've watched Doom four times now and I still see new subtleties and nuances.

There is a difference between boring and slow burn story. This was always about symbolic value of life and death, past and new relationships, first love, and finding a purpose to live or to give up. It was all about self-sacrifice, and I think all the characters did that in their own unique ways. People need to see past the prejudice they have for this drama and learn what's written in between the lines, because only then will they see the message it carries. It has been a pleasure to follow this drama for these couple of months, both the plot and cast were good. And if it has flaws or not, which it might, since there's nothing perfect out there. However it's by those imperfections that we are able to fall deeply. Still I really enjoyed seeing InGuk and BoYoung in their roles together 💗
That's very well written, I wish the drama was more received because it deserved a lot more,but the truth is that usually people don't prefer these kind of genre which is kinda sad because genuinely it's very unique and fresh, I always wanted to watch these kind of drama but tbh there's literally no drama of this kinda style. At first even I was expecting a lot more like some action/mystery along with fantasy because that's how usually our brain works I guess 😂but then I realized I was expecting that from a melodrama series, after which I started enjoying the drama for the storytelling and the actors. I absolutely loved the little life lessons the drama taught us and how gracefully the actors breathed life into their characters.
@@sana12797 I completely agree with you...for me it felt like this show was a mix of fantasy/slice of life/melodrama.....I loved that there were no unnecessary bad guys and villains and what not.
I love how you put into words what I've been feeling ever since I finished watching this drama. I've seen a lot of people say it's boring but I couldn't even sleep properly unless I knew what came next in the following episodes. It was just a heartwarming story with lots of depth and life lessons. The concept was unique too. It's just sad that it doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

Imagine being in this world , alone for a long time and then you met the love of your life and it's just a blink of an eye comparing to the time he's existed . But for him, it's worth it.
