The preview image on this video is deceiving
I saw a different method of using silk cocoons and see that spinning directly from the cocoons is something I’d like to try. I have a Mulberry tree and would like to try my hand at raising them for the silk.
Proud to be a Silk engineer😍❤️
You deserve it
Do you know how brocades are made? Weaving complex patterns with various dyed threads would be insanely expensive and yet I can´t see how a machine would do this.
Good that I found you. Now tell me, engineer, how you find the beginning of the thread
Sir I. Have a. Question why Eri cocoons r spinned instead of reeling?
@@chandrabaruah6877 there are generally termed as wild silk as in found in forests and are not grown as per the condition as how we grow in case of our mulberry
So are the damaged cocoons also boiled in hot water before or can you spin directly from the cocoon?
damaged cocoons also boiled
@@TextileVlog thank you =)
@@corvuscorone7735 The boiling is to kill the moth / silk worm inside it, they are burned alive that way. Damaged cocoons don't need to be boiled, but it can help loosen up the thread for an easier draw.
@@dr.lexwinter8604 Thank you, :) I have since experimented/spun with hatched (i.e. damaged) cocoons myself and boiling before seemed necessary for me at least to get at the actual thread.
is the reel quality different than automatic machines... heard somewhere the reeling quality depends on machine used..
I always wanted to know this process
Thanks for watching. 😊
Why doesn't the thumbnail picture come up anywhere in the video?
Hi, I'm from tamilnadu, India.
I'm very interested may I know where I will buy that small Mechine...
Do they boil the unhatched silkworm?
Yes. This is Genocide.
Yes however they have already been dried and passed away from that
@@baygizz genocide? 😂😂😂
@@iuliusravas2164 Actually, larvacide
Wow proces manucf""😂😂😂😁😁😁
Thanks for watching. 😊
hello, I'm wondering if the yellow kokan is natural or the color is yellow, or does the silkworm feed on a different mixture?
The white cocoon is foreign and the yellow cocoon is Bengali cocoon they’re both nature but different in variety perhaps

Thank you so much 😀
Superb
Thanks for watching. 😊
I’m pretty sure they’re killing all the worms that wanted to evolve into beautiful months 😭why don’t you just let them hatch first and take the cocoon when it’s empty shxnsjwiskks
Silk moths do not have mouths and are subsequently doomed to starve to death. They also damage their cacoons beyond use once they emerge
Super 🥰
Stay connected m
Very nice 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching.
there is a lot of noise
😍😍😍😍
Human is always cruel for his comfort he kills the unhatched silkmoth 😔😔

@@Yes..imAyushi yes i know and actually i dont really care... I mean not gona cry for them. Just said for our friends the hard facts. :))
@@iuliusravas2164 Then you don't really need to cement, either. You're just stirring the pot to be contrary.

Poor silkwarms are getting killd...disappointing
Your mere existence is bound to kill something, especially with the amount of industrial production today. Animals die so we can have silk, leather and meat. Pesticides kill countless bugs and other small animals so we can have maximum grown produce. At least being boiled like this would be a quick death.
The adults have no mouth and starve to death within a week; just long enough to mate. As a pupae, they're likely only semi conscious. So which would you prefer? Semi conscious smothering, or fully alert starvation?
@@cable2486 They are worms, they live in "the now" they do not care about tomorrow or yesterday.
@@zweibomb A lot of virtue signalling at the behest of temple priests pretending to be virtuous and all when in reality they are the most corrupt of them all.
