Underutilised crops and agriculture diversification

We need ‎agricultural‬ ‪‎diversification‬ and must include ‪underutilised‬ crops, or also known as neglected crops, that can help diversify the world’s food systems beyond just the world’s major crops grown as ‪monocultures‬. With a wider range of crops for food and non-food uses, agricultural diversification will provide an opportunity to contribute to improved incomes, food security and nutrition.
