Which Raiders is better? Scythia or North Sea?

Will and Sara review the new board game Raiders of Scythia from Garphill and Renegade Game Studios. It's a worker-placement game that features similar mechanics to Shem Phillip's game Raiders of the North Sea.

We loved this! Got it last week & played it nearly immediately. We don't have Raiders of the North Sea, so can't compare, but we liked this a lot.

Great game! Koumiss is a lot like Mongolian airag which I’ve drank gallons of, it’s delicious 😋 but takes a lot to get you drunk. It does have a sour tang yogurt taste but it’s got a little fizz that’s refreshing. Would love to drink some and play but alas it’s hard to come by in US since no one milks their mares.

I know it's a lot of work, but it would be really great if you could show some pictures of the components you're talking about at that time, i.e. raiding the spots with gold and the wound-dice...

Played both. Scythia, to me, is the better game. More polished and the artwork, production value and style are stellar
