Hi maam, sawali and wood planks are exterior cladding only, we still need to use the typical Chb construction method for these bahay-kubo inspired houses so they can withstand typhoons :)

Hi, is it possible to: (a) have the kitchen and dining only (no deck) on the left side (b) all 4 bedrooms on the right side so ground floor bedrooms (1& 2) have access to Lanai and (c) have 2 bedrooms in attic with attached T&B & remove family room? My site dimension is: 18.3 m (wide in front) and 11.17 m (depth). After allowing for setbacks, it will be: 14.3 m (wide in front) and 9.2 m (depth). Is there a direct way to email you? Thanks
Good concept but there's a flaw on the floor plan. If the 2nd floor is attic type, I think the stairway going up should land on the area below the apex of the roof ...to ensure ample space for standing height of any normal person going up to the attic.
Really loved your design, so applique for a provincial setting. But can you do a modified version with a budget of 1.5 M (less unnecessary cabinets in the rooms except for the master's) ? Do you have an e-mail to contact you? You have a new subscriber from the East Coast - USA.
This is a misnomer...This no native house...it is only finished with native materials...the design and layout is basically cosmopolitan,you just added some native motiffs..
Houses about ground are good in tropical places for they’re more cooling & I like the concept of those designs.

clearance between the last step and the attic ceiling is 1.9~2.3m enough for an average height person 😺
