"Best HS Football in the Nation?" NS is only ranked #10! I think SJB, MD, St. Frances Academy, Central, St. Thomas Aquinas would have something to say about this. NS would get stomped by most or all of these teams.

They have a lot of commentators and analysts, the most extensive website in prep sports, cover everything of consequence, and are dead on. They are THE go-to site in prep sports. I have been watching them and following them for more than 10 years. They are not "off." ALL rankings change as the season progresses because teams win and lose along the way. The problem with Texas football is they almost never play any ranked teams from out of state. But when they do, they get absolutely crushed, as we saw with SJB vs. Allen this year, and MD vs. Duncanville last year. I don't know why, but I am very suspicious they don't want to, or are afraid to. After all, if you talk talk talk about your teams as if they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, and there's no evidence to the contrary, then people will believe it. It's certainly not about money....teams like Mater Dei and St. John Bosco are perfectly willing to play Texas teams in Texas, and that HAS to be one of their top games of the year.

Allen was not good. People in Texas picked Bosco to win. North Shore is a different animal. Duncanville is good, I get it. They want that rep. But they are not North Shore or Austin Westlake. Yes, I seen MD, watched the highlights of the Bosco game. I know California hangs there hat on these two schools. Right, talented. Nothing taken from that. Still as I told people from California living in Texas. No one cares about a fake national championship. Only winning state. I know all about prep schools and advantages they have. My point, UIL will not allow public schools to travel. And no Duncanville is not the only team in Texas. Nothing taken away from any schools in California. For example, in 2017, they lost 4 games and ended up 9-4, losing to such unknowns as Astocita (ranked #218 in the nation). North Shore itself was ranked #259 that year. There is zero reason, other than the fact that they must not want to play us. C'mon. These coaches won't lose their jobs if they lose.
