Thank you so much for making this video. I’ve been taking care of my mother since her official diagnosis in 2014, which took about 3 to 4 years to finally receive after many doctors in many different specialties for the various and seemingly odd and disconnected symptoms. All of your information is so very spot on to my experience with caring for her and seeking care for her. I had to do my own research in regards to her various needs in long term and ever changing care. I’ve had to educate every physician and nurse over the course of the first 5 years until we finally came across semi-informed Neurologist who went above and beyond to self-educate , and set proper care for her in motion, especially with her insurance.
It was extremely difficult because of the original diagnosis name, Spontaneous Olivopontos Cerebellar Degeneration. MSA-C is now more recognizable but not necessarily understood.

My husband was recently diagnosed with MSA-p after being treated for Parkinson’s for 10 years. This was very good information! Thank you!!
