@@ImLeuff the efficiency, the constant power, and makes a general quiet ride due to the constant low rpm it stays at all the time. Though, if they decided to advertise a car a fun sports car, it would be different.
@@mauricebarry8858 Efficiency I get, quiet ride too. To be perfectly honest, no I don't want a CVT but if it has a place it is in a Corolla. I'm just so used to car having gears that with a CVT it's so strange and like a giant 4 wheel scooter to me
this may be a stupid question, but accelerating so hard and getting revs so high up, wouldn't it compromise the break in period and cause premature wear and tear?
@@AMGracing720 Actually, on the hatch you can get a manual on all trims except the Nightshade, which is just a base model with some black bits. But on the sedan you’re right, they need to offer the manual on more trims.
I’m assuming this is the white paint and not the silver they have available. I’m having trouble telling the difference in the video and I feel kinda dumb about that lol
Looks like it has push button start. It’s funny though, I don’t think the nightshade gets heated seats unless you’re in Canada, unless there’s something I’m missing
@@ZabbeXTMP I was wondering about that, since he started his run as he was getting onto the highway. If he started from a dead stop, maybe a tad better? Still not bad for this type of car.
nice drive,a little fast on that one side road, oncoming traffic, farm vehicles and more. the fake shifting is ridiculous as buying a family hatch why?
A mode like this puts car performance on a scale where the user can decide how sporty or economical they want to be exactly. It also increases engagement and helps hold a limit on winding corners. I agree fake gears sound very iffy but in the way done here i think it’s nice
That was my reaction too when I test drove it. Cute car, but IMO worth about $15K-$17K. Also that hatch space is super small unless you lower the back seats. I feel my '06 Civic trunk is bigger...
My dad had corolla AE92 hatchback 1990 model back in 2000 loved it i learned driving manual on it
What an honor
The design will split minds for sure but this is a fantastic value proposition. No doubt about that. Great video :)
@Chiba You're right, since it was.
Tbh I feel this is the best looking of the Toyota cars
About to trade in my Evo X for one of these, because I wanted something sporty and reliable. Pretty excited.
Trading my 2014 CX-5 for one of these in about a month. 2023, pearl white sedan. So hyped. Just hoping the fwd does okay in the snow
CVT is just a no-no. I want to like Toyotas but they have this rental car vibe around them. Mazda 3 and Civic have it beat if you ask me
Personally, i like the cvt.
@@mauricebarry8858 Can you tell me what you like about it?

Good driving
Driving the Corolla coross
Nice car. Looking like Toyota Blade ! 👍🏽

Nice car best selling car from Toyota
How is the cabin noise compared to other vehicles? It seems fairly quiet
thanks for listning me and showing somthing in the interiour of driver side
are u from which city sir??

Break in period is like 500-1000 miles. It's fine.
Black door handles is a big no.
It is funny bc in Brazil all the small price cars are sold with total plastic interior
For me it’s a big yes
I want any car that has an auto transmission))
Tired of manual transmission. In my country roads are awful and with MT it's a nightmare 😨
Can't blame you.
These cars would be 1000x better with a manual or DCT option.
The corolla does still come with a 6 speed manual on some trim levels.
@@clover7359 Yeah but only on the base. I mean all trims.

Hell it would be perfect with the 8 speed A/T Toyota has in their Rav4.
Would be a nice car around town! :)

The fact that the center console's size is similar or larger than my Q3 is a little disturbing.
Nice
What is the engine capacity of this Toyota Sorolla model?
Does the Hatchback handles netter than the sedan since the wheelbase is shorter?
yes

Looks great
But unfortunately the new civic and all other compacts make the Corolla nonexistent and irrelevant now.

The questions is one where is the handbrake?
The parking brake is automatic. The switch is behind the shifter
Come on Ti is real crap
Apex se manual when?
I want to like the Corolla but I've never driven a car that had more road noise. It's inexcusably loud.
