I’ve got the shorts, £84 on sigma at the mo which is a pretty great deal. And the back pockets especially are really useful. They are much tighter to your body so don’t sag like jersey pockets. Also post ride I managed to fit 4x tinnies of cheap lager in the pockets. Cannot put a price on that
I must admit I loathe the idea of “cargo” cycling shorts, totally ungainly and misses the point. Despite that I bought a pair and the unheralded back pockets are brilliant for storing stuff securely. The only issue is that you have to unzip your jersey to access them 🥴!
I have these shorts, totally love the back pockets, I don’t really use the side ones. But I don’t have to unzip my jersey to get them? Just lift it up a bit...?
Good video and it's nice to see a company addressing a more appropriate clothing line for the type of cyclists popping up but my experience with the Castelli fit has been a bad one. It seems as though they think everybody is as thin as a toothpick which makes it hard to find the right fit even if you upsize. Their stuff just never worked for me which is why I'm stuck on Rapha. Rapha also has bibs that have storage compartments.
I have the castelli unlimited shorts, admittedly I did size up to a large (my measurements are bang on medium on the castelli size chart) but I feel like they fit great. Maybe a tiny bit longer in the straps but once you’re riding totally forget about it
Was the other guy allowed to talk?? It was just weird to have him sitting there silently and nodding his head 🤷♂️
He's on loan from Castelli, came with the clothes. Only speaks Italian.
The clothes were unlimited, but the model certainly wasn't!
Did he have a limited vocab, or was his voice too gravelly 😋
Agreed. Very awkward indeed
he probably told his toy boy to shush it.
I have these shorts, they are pretty great!
Put an order for em yesterday got for $103 some long gravel rides I just wear base layer n bib shorts hope these bibs give what I’m looking for
I like the new jersey and shorts. Especially the pocket in the shorts. They seem comfortable and well made.
Pocket in shorts, you mean like Rapha Cargo?
Precisely
castelli chamois dont provide enough coverage at the front, so i wear assos shorts and castelli tops
Hi, what is rider height & weight? Size jersey & bib? Thanks.
What was the grey bike he was riding?
it's an enigma endeavour: www.enigmabikes.com/pages/enigma-endeavour
Looking to try some new patches what do u recommend
Love road.cc - good reviews from a great team... but these type of products...utter, utter, utter (third utter is necessary) marketing nonsense!

I agree not calling any gear gravel specific its utter nonsense

Also these are currently £84 compared to Rapha’s £110. Also literally everyone on the planet has Rapha bibs
