To be honest, I'm not sure if audio from this video is from that live performance, it sounds like studio version, not only because of quality, every details are like in studio version, for example two voices in growl you mentioned, in studio version there are two voices, also some female parts are definitely not sang by one voice in this video, it not sounds like back vocals, also there where female vocal goes from one ear to another, you can't do that live and record it with unprofessional camera, and it, so I think it's just live video and studio audio. Btw, both Грай and Eluveitie are pagan/folk metal bands, but Eluveitie is more like celtic folk and Грай is slavic folk, both bands have different sounds because of that. But there are metal bands which sounds more like slavic folk, especially in vocal, in slavic folk music we have some specific vocal techniques. ;)
huh, I've never dived into Russian folk metal but two minutes of searching showed me, there is a lot! As a German, folk metal is ingrained in my bones but this sounds epic! If anyone has some good recommendations beside ГРАЙ for me to check out please answer to this comment 😊 It would be much appreciated! Thanks for the introduction to ГРАЙ and your thoughts at the end!
