You are lucky it was cloudy. Try doing that in mid-summer at 40c and you will feel my pain.

3:55 there is an indiana jones hidden in there (not in the video). There is a cave visible in the cliff, so when I saw the lego I wanted to check if they had added it, and there he was XD

@BrookeBossier I used to be in the army regiment that had the duty to get that Greek flag at 2:42 up at sunrise and down at dusk, almost a decade ago and I cannot believe that all those damn cranes and scaffoldings are *still* on the Parthenon. What on earth where they supposed to be fixing that time, anyway ? :/

@Sejuani SupportONLY Surprising you were there every day a decade ago and never asked what they are doing. The restoration project started in 1984. They have been working off and on since that time to ensure stability of the monument as well as decaying of the marbles. Work like that is extremely meticulous and time consuming and takes a very long time to complete. As the years went by they have expanded the original project scope as more decay is discovered.

@@AB-jz9ns I *know* what they are doing. *Pretending* to work. Let me tell you something about "Greek construction work" ... the bridge Rio-Antirio which was exists now (google it) started in 1997. Talks and plans about it begun even earlier. When I passed through there at 2002 it was a *literal* HOLE in the water, with only half a pillar jutting out of the water and one other being prepared. From 1997 till 2002, that's ALL they did. *10%* of the bridge. Come the need for the bridge for the Olympics in 2004 and, oh wonder of wonders, they completed the remaining *90%* in two years. ;)
      > Work like that is extremely meticulous and time consuming and takes a very long time to complete.
So, the answer to that HERE is "suuuuure it does" ... noone wants to complete a project like that and lose his salary and be moved elsewhere. Come on man, think like a local ;)
      > As the years went by they have expanded the original project scope as more decay is discovered
Of course they did huehuehue wink wink nudge nudge ...
Did you learn that in the latest "restoration" those morons used CEMENT on the Acropolis, without any plan for water retention and they managed *to FLOOD a HILL*
Don't believe me? Go to that YT video and see it with your own eyes:
