Part of me is starting to think the Maw is VERY old. Here are some thoughts of mine. In the beginning, the Maw was truly used as a restaurant and a place of entertainment. In control of all of it was a mystical Geisha (a Japanese hostess trained to entertain men with conversation, dance, and song.) This Geisha created puppets that she would dress up and use as staff of the Maw. Jolly chefs. A goofy janitor. Nomes that danced and entertained guests. Children that catered to these guests and helped with clean up. All puppets. A lovely place fabulously decorated and taken care of. The Giesha's consumption of the souls of the guests was extremely discreet and no one ever suspected a thing. Then this Geisha had a daughter. She inherited the Maw. Then she had a daughter. And then SHE had a daughter... And then SHE had daughter. This daughter is OUR Geisha. I'm on the side of the fanbase that believes Six is the Lady's daughter. So what caused the Maw to become the way it is now if it used to be such a lovely restaurant? I theorize that the Lady became selfish, vain, and perhaps insecure. Maybe she was considered "ugly" among her ancestors. She neglected and allowed the bottom part of the Maw to become flooded and inaccessible. Her puppets began to fall apart (hence the Janitor's disformed body and the hideousness of the chefs.) She abandoned her grandmother (who was still responsible for creating puppets, hence why we see so many children puppets laying about) inside the depths (also hence as to why the granny doesn't drown as a normal person might.) She had to resort to bringing real children from the mainlands to keep maintenance on the Maw. The Nomes were no longer of use to her, as no guests required "dinner and a show" anymore. The Maw became much more primal and began to go to shit. Appalled by the defiance of her own daughter, who likely tried to escape the Maw once upon a time and succeeded, she sent her away to work beside the other kidnapped children. Six was recaptured and attempted to escape again, but in the time we play as Six it could be that she realized that she needed to bring down her mother if she was to escape and evade recapture forever as well as end the cycle the Maw makes every year. Six tries to defy the hunger her lineage is famous for, but in the end she just can't help herself... Six being a "Geisha" herself could also be why the Nomes imitate her once you hug them. Perhaps this is evidence of some of Six's powers connecting with them and that ancient obedience the Nomes have toward the Geisha lineage still residing within them. I like to imagine our Geisha dedicates more of her magic toward her looks and appearance than her puppets, hence why everything has gone to shit and she is neglecting a lot of the responsibilities that come with inheriting the Maw. The guests are eating the previous guests and the bodies of the dead children are used as fire fuel to keep the Maw going (as seen by the chimney that sticks out of the water no matter what.) The Lady has lost her hold on reality and Six, her own daughter, must either take back the Maw or find a way to escape it by embracing her dark side. JUST MY THOUGHTS! Obviously, not everyone will agree. Just speaking my ideas and seeing if any of them click with anyone else's theories.
I forgot to add the last part, as revenge for her mistake she goes a genocide route taking in all sorts of creatures or even possibly deformed humans and fed them to the brim with their own CHILDREN, this was so she would never have to deal with such heart break again.
as for 6 becoming the new headmistress as I said for the boarding passengers of the maw they know they're going to die meaning 6 is doing as she's meant to.
That sounds pretty plausible. Don't we already have tech that works this way, too? Could also be for fishing. There's a picture of the entire Maw with what looks like fishing net behind it. The net pulls them in, the water empties out, leaving the fish.
and besides it's impossible for the Runaway Kid to be the one who gave Six the bread because at that time, the Runaway Kid was at the depths of the Maw and he woke up in a 2nd nursery up above where the Janitor wraps the children and sends them to the kitchen. And the only time we see Six in the DLC is when the Janitor kidnaps us and puts us into this giant cage which resembles the same cage that the janitor drags to the wrapping station in Little Nightmares (Sixes' story)and the kid that have Six the bread looks a little bit taller, skinner and less confident than the Runaway Kid does.So who is the kid who gave Six the bread and how does he know Six?
there is a theory out there that guesses the arm hanging out of the bag is related to the girl with the flashlight who escaped when the runaway kid is escaping from the prison but eventually got caught by the granny but i personally dont think so since the arm is at the very bottom of the bag which could actually mean the person who got caught has been in the bag for awhile unless the granny empties the bag often for whatever reason maybe she eats the bodies of the dead children but who knows if the granny eats them since fish and meat is already offered to her.
I don't buy it, with the timeline being the way it is. Something would have had to grab the girl, kill her, stuff her in a bag, fill the bag with other unidentified stuff, truss the bag with rope, set it up on the pulley system, and lower it into the water in a pretty short amount of time, and if the Granny's the only one down here, I doubt she'd be able to do it that quick AND still be able to chase you in the water everywhere.
the hand can't be a doll cuz it shows no sign of segments plus the doll has no figures also the bag was probably given to the granny to feed her just like the tube with the fish but what gave her the bag and the tube of fish none other than both the chefs and the janitor now the janitor seems unlikely to give her some supplies but remember the bag it's probably filled with dead children.if you pay attention when she grabs you bubbles come up it's like she's eating you.but still who gave her the bag THE JANITOR DUNDUNDUUUUUN just think about it who else delivers bags and bags of dead children(who are used for sausages)it seems like the janitor helps the granny cuz he knows how it feels like to be abandoned cuz the lady puts him in the lower part of the maw and put straps onto his bed and she forces him to catch children even while he's blind and six carelessly chopped off his arms to escape him
In the concept art there are drawings of 5 other kids. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 is Six. Maybe they're all the Lady's kids? Or she's the like queen bee and all of the kids are hers? Maybe the Granny was once a Geisha too? So many questions!
Finally someone on the right track. In the Hideaway DLC the kid finds the security office and can flip to the camera in the shoe pit room, right as Six is crossing it. Which means that the shoe monster is not Granny or she moved up a few levels after being electrocuted.
Okay about the part about the depths being flooded and how it wouldnt make sense to have draining systems. Well at first glance it may seem that way but if you think about it more it would actually make MORE sense to have a draining system in the Maw because you cant just build a giant submarine that holds MANY overweight people at once and not expect it to flood. They would have to have a system of draining of all the water incase of a flood.
Has anyone ever thought why the escape takes place at the same time as six's I mean it says on the depths the other children lead the escape and the runaway kid falls in the depths and it makes sense did the children have like little meetings or something because in six's campaign there are the frozen kids. but that's just my thoughts good luck in the hideaway!
I think the Granny was simply just abandoned to manage the sewage system in the maw and is nit allowed back up. I mean, there are a lot of toilets in the game and that stuff has to go somewhere.
Hitsuga Tatsuro I agree that the depths were pretty much abandoned but they still need to be operated. All the drainage systems also leads me to believe that the sewers are supposed to flood in and out to filter out the, well, you know what...
Jim Tim Hmm.. Point taken. Tho to me, an obvious and rly gross/immoral shortcut would be just to dump the, er.. _waste_ straight into the ocean. Sides, in my opinion the Depths once doubled as both a large living section & a ship repair area. But, hey -I could be wrong.
What if the granny is Six's grandmother? She was left down there to decay, probably by the lady. The lady abandoned Six as well. What if the lady is just getting rid of all her family members? The only flaw is that is the three of them are verrry different in appearance. I hope we get an answer to the origins of these characters..
Dude, it's confirmed that six's story take place at the same time as the runaway kid's, maybe since the runaway kid is lower in the maw there is no cameras since barley any monsters live down there. :/
I'm also really confused about that one girl in the dlc that the runaway kid follows before she disappeares I'm really hooked onto her and I think that she's alive but at the same time I think not
Finally! Someone who pays attention to the timeline! Every single person I know who knows LN is convinced that the bread kid and the runaway kid are the same. It drove me crazy. Finally.
ok ok I have to say my sis said this theory soo its not mine but when you play as the runaway kid the little girl in front of him coud be a trap because in the lady s place there is the picture of her soo she coud just make the runaway kid come to her .....to the trap..... sorry my eng is kinda bad soo i dont know how to discribe lol
Ye I said the exact same thing but there was a portrait with a girl wearing a raincoat just like six's. I don't think that's six tho because in very little nightmares the girl you play as isn't six she was wearing the raincoat but when she died six took her raincoat. I don't think she's dead it didn't show if she actually died or not. Maybe that's her because she wasn't wearing her raincoat. She probably swam her way to the maw. BTW very little nightmares is a prequel and it's only available on mobile.
@@js_drizzy2683 wow i cant believe i made that comment 3 years ago. Were gonna have more answers to our theories since little nightmares part 2 is coming out and theres also a new character. Also theres scenes of being outside to we might know what happend to six since she was on that boat
If you compare the times of both, the DLC starts about 4 minutes before the main game. That gives about enough time for the clothesline and stuff. But by looking at that timing, there's no way the child could be in the depths AND giving bread to Six at the same time.
This makes the bread kid more misterious. I thought every child who was supposed to be raised then eaten in the maw had a chain attached to their leg. That Chain looks like it's a thing that helps them monitorize/watch the children, so I thought every children had it. And how did the janitor know where the runaway boy would be and caught him? If they watch the kids with the help of that things attached to their leg, then it wouldn't matter because the janitor is blind, right? And the kid that gave the bread didn't have a chain, neither do other kids, so why has the runaway boy a chalk attached to his leg and others kids don't? It seems weird to me
Once the Runaway Kid was captured and was dragged away, look in the room where the janitor wraps the dead children in the original story. Go near the cage where you can hide and the cage next to it is the Runaway Kid and he's still moving. Most people might have missed this since they were focusing on the janitor. But how will the Runaway Kid escape that cage?
The timeline seems all right to me... I would say the Runaway Kid's story happens at the same time with Six's. . . [Edit] Okay, I guess I should say what I think it's like. But keep in mind I'm no timeline expert. Six's story begins little after the boy's, that's why she finds all that stuff from him laying around. When the janitor (Roger... pffft) captures the boy he is put in a cage before Six, but only wakes up when she's already there. It is very weird to imagine that while you're running around in the role of one of the children, the other is only fighting for survival some metres above or beneath you.
i think you theory about that the runaway kid is not the bread kid is right. i mean i think that the runaway kid never have seen six before because when six makes her journey the runaway child was probably below the schip, so there is no way the boy could give that bread to six. besides i bet that the 2 kids crossed eachother pad when they got catched by the janitor. so it shall make no sense if the boy could be the breadkid.
Love your theory videos, definitely gets one thinking outside the box. Here are some wonderings. -Is the Lady/Governess afraid of becoming the Granny? We have seen what the Granny looks and if she is related to the lady, that would explain her fear of her beauty fading. What if the Granny was the last lady/governess and was over thrown? Possibly she is based on the idea of that odd grandparent that creeps out small children. - What if Six isn't the Lady's daughter but her replacement/student? What if she was being groomed to be the student of the lady but there was something uncontrollable about her and she was banished to the area where the hanged man was. - Maybe we have seen the children from the comics in the game. What if that shadowy hooded figure that appears when Six is feeding isn't her "dark side" but one the other hooded children. Maybe the hunger is the outcome of forgetting who you are, you mindlessly feed like other creatures as you give into the odd supernatural power.
Andy the Gamer Kavra Helper no, it's explained why the runaway boy is not the bread kid. The runaway boy was caught by the janitor before six was given bread, and the bread kid didn't have a chalk on his leg like the runaway boy does
When six meets the janitor for the first time you hide under the runaways bed but a minute later you are at the cafetirea and there is the bread child there is no way the runaway could got there before six
So there's another creature in the "shoe sea" that six was in. And could bread boy be an entirely new character since the runaway boy had a cross over with six when they were captured by Roger but not in the cafeteria?!?!
I played little nightmares again please look at the room underneath the freezer area I saw a picture looked like it could be the granny behind the geshia picture. there is a woman with red or brunette hair that hangs over her face wearing a red dress. I'm not sure if this has been talked about already but it was something I saw on a 3rd at through.
I know I'm getting annoying but I think this theory could work. During the 1900's or so their was a town called Nome (I watched a movie called balto on Netflix, if it isn't a real town then this was for nothing) there was a devastating storm causing the children and other citizens to have a life threatening sickness, they chose the fastest sled dogs to meet the a train departure in the closet town they could get it, which is a little like what the nomes do they guide you. The sickness sent the children into a deep troubled sleep full of nightmares and probably caused mental trauma, only the strongest of the kids made it through..... so I'd assume in this game dying in the dream is 6 losing the battle to the sickness. I'd assume that was the case for the run away kid, he fought hard but was sadly unable to fight through, and his grandmother may have caused a trauma for him with water or possibly he was a victim of a certain storm that caused mass flooding.
I think the depths were flooded in order for The Maw to submerge. They may have been used once, until The Maw began to submerge (coming up only once a year) and they use devices to pump water in and out as required to change its buoyancy. We already know that it is submerged for much of the year, and there would have be a mechanism for doing so. This seems like a sufficient explanation to me.
maybe the bag with the arm is just food for the granny also I don't think the granny can survive out of water and maybe the place with the hand on the wall was flooded before
Zack7240 so she can't survive out of water, yet she was chilling in a chair waiting for the runaway kid, and then you know, she climbed out the water trying to get to you because she was tired if his shit.
I'm pretty sure that the runaway kid decides to move from his bed cause of the loss of the other child next to his bed (the girl with the flashlight ?). Moreover, when the runaway kid is trapped at the end of the dlc, there is no one in the other little cage next to him... ;) whereas when we play as Six at this same moment, the janitor takes the runaway kid BUT there is a child the little cage ! (The one we have to use to open the door). What do you think about that ????^^
During my let's play series, I complained about there being a kid missing from that cage. I think it's just a continuity error on Tarsier's part, but I could be wrong!
Maybe because the maw is so big, possibly glacier size, the drains were built just in case of flooding in the depths. Considering its the depths, the bottom of the Maw where water pressure would be at its hifhest. Idk.
when i saw the part were u that the chain thing part i showed it to my sis (she beileves that bread kid is runaway kid) when i show to her she was dead silent for like 20 seconds then she said its a theory and then i say that theory is wrong then she says no ur wrong
Maybe the granny was sent there (depths) to was clothes for the guests and she was fed fish heads, (maybe it made her crazy and after eating all those fish heads she though she was a fish IDK) and the flood maybe was a whole in the maw (idk how to spell it) or one of the pipes or washing machines broke down and it caused the flood idk it just a theory ..!
what if the bread kid is the kid that runaway kid is following in the beginning. Similar silhouette. We are lead to believe that the kid RK is following is killed. But there is no body so it cannot be confirmed.
vikkieheartsyou yeah that girl couldn't have been killed ( at least by the leeches ) since that "blood" was ink from the leech and I'm guessing that the runaway girl got her hands and feet in the ink ( explains the prints ) then her footprints stop because the ink on her feet dried up ( you know how when you step in thick mud you leave prints for a little while ) and either the girl was killed by granny and is the one in the bag or she found a different way out (that vent that had a nome, and it was dark in the tunnel and she didn't have the flashlight) she probably went threw had a vent that something opened. If in right she is either in the cage near six or in the room that RK will soon be in
its possible that the cage area isn't just for the kids to be consumed but for captured kids and that depending on there size are chopped up or thrown back in the prison. its also possible that six hasn't started her journey yet and escapes runs through the prison ends up sleeping in the suitcase and making her way back and that's when she is given the bread by the runaway kid ...or another theory what if the cage the janitor drags across the bridge is the runway kid being taken to the capture room.
eh yeah I guess the timeline is a bit foggy since we have no reference of when six escaped and when her story begins I mean maybe the comic can give light but I doubt will ever know
Most large sea fairing vessels such as aircraft carriers and cruise ships etc have water pumps on them. To use in case of damage and water begins to fill the ship they can seal the area and pump the water out. Now you might think that makes sense to push water out but why would it need to be able to take water in and to that, i say this the Maw is an underwater ship similar to an extremely large submarine and how these massive ships dive into the water is by taking in water at a controlled rate and pump it out at a controlled rate to resurface. Now most ships of this size always leave a margin of error in case something extreme happens and so they make sure that if certain areas become flooded it won't effect the ships ability to sink and surface normally and they can leave that area flooded until they reach a point where they can repair the damaged area and drain the area again. But in the granny's case, nothing is wrong with the area they just sealed it off and flooded to keep here in there and away from the rest of the ship.
The problem is in the location of those mechanics, though-- they are built into what must have been residential areas. If they really were for controlling the flood or the water levels, why would there be couches and junk? Why piles of clothes? Why doors underwater?
Arcanestatic That can be answer with several possibilities. One possibility being when the original flooding of that area occurred it moved all the stuff around on that floor and when the draining happened they setteled there and the granny now trapped there adapted to the new setting caused by the continuing flooding and draining and moved things like her "personal living space" which she more then likely created herself because if you take a look at where her tied down stuff is. it's not really a room more of a water draining point where she's taken residents in. More then likely because she knows that in all that floor when the water drains it's one of the few spots that become completly dry, because in the beginning she was a land dwelling "person" but change to match her surroundings, her new aquatic life but she made that area because she still enjoys being dry because she was originally a land creature. thus maybe she moved that stuff we see around to make the best of her new environment set it up in such a way to keep some sense of familiarity to the life she once lived which is probably why she attacked you because you're a outside force disturbing the delicate setting she set up for herself in a extreme situation. As for the location of the machines what we could be looking at is shipmates quarters because no guest quarters will be in the bowels of the ship.
I'm not sure about that, really-- the controls raise and lower water levels in areas that suggest there's no reason for there to be water. Some of the areas make sense-- the one where there's the small pool and the crank is fine, sure, but what about the place where you can raise the water multiple levels? That one stops its water levels halfway through portholes and doors that already exist, as well as covering up areas that are definitely meant to be accessed dryly. I would agree that a vessel like the Maw must have mechanisms like these for the purposes of taking on and shunting out water to be able to raise and lower, but these specific instances make no sense.
Arcanestatic Well like I said they flooded that floor in a way not within its normal parameters, to seal the granny down there so yeah I can see where it wouldn't make sense to have water in certain areas because like you stated it's not supposed to be there but neither are they supposed to flood an entire crewman floor just to seal one person in there. Now why certain machines raise and lower in such strange ways I'm not quite sure I'd have to do more research into the flooding and pumping systems of our submarines. If I was to guess I'd say because in these areas they were secondary systems that could be sacrificed in order to maintain the structural Integrity of the ship in order to wait for a more suitable time and or place to repair whatever damage caused the ship to take on water and pump the water later and thus just repair those machines as well. Granted we don't really know to much about the structure of the ship. If the description of the DLC coming out in November titled "The Hideaway" is true, we might get a better understanding of the ship and thus maybe understand why flood those areas and why they change the water level in such weird ways.
If im not wrong i have a model of the bread kid that the model is called:CapturedChildren1 and the flashlight girl model name is:CapturedChildren2 also:If u wanna see the bread kid model ill do a screenshot and post on community if u want
I been thinking the runaway kid is not him who throw him a bread...cuz how he will go there if he is in depth? I think is must be Mono in little nightmare 2 a new character who will come journey with six...
But the boy who gave Six the piece of bread or meat didn't stand like that at all in the game, in the game, he had a pretty similar standing pose as the runaway kid who a lot of people are calling him Seven. The comic seems to be making the kid who gave Six a place of bread or meat seem so whimpy, but in the game he seemed to look a lot like the kid from the cafeteria area.😶 And no, I'm not saying that they're the same person, I'm just saying that they look a lot alike and I'm kinda hoping that they'll do a dlc with that prisoner cafeteria kid and some of the girls that looked very similar to Six in the comics, cause that'll be so cool and interesting to add for the Little Nightmares horror game!!😆😆👍👍 And I kinda hope that they'll eventually make a multiplayer mod for Little Nightmares too!!!!😊😊
hey ok. that place have those water thingys cuz thats where the guests go befor they are getting killed. the guests are just sitting there or idk and than the water arae coming and killing them. that cold water thing is important to understand that, because, you see, they dont want the meet to decay. (if ur using it so please give me credit.)
if it takes a week at least to decay, but the runnaway kid its been there just a few days(sinces his not dying from hungre) dont you think that arm might be from the girl with the flashlight, the one who desapeared.
I don't think so. We see other bulbous bags shaped like this one in the first area of the kitchen where you use the hanging hooks to get there. My guess is it's another kid, but not the girl.
I'm sorry Dude I'm not hating or anything I LOVE your theory's but your voice for me is really hard to listen to your voice kinda sounds nasally and slightly irritating. But I totally love your theory video and I thank you for making them😅
Bravo. This is no amount of insincere flattery on my part, but you really make your cases very eloquently, Sir. Your voice, as you have no doubt been told time & again, is indeed very nasal, but overall pleasant to listen to as your intonations seem very practiced & well-placed, in my opinion. That saaaaiiiiiid, my take on some of the mechanisms in the Depths which drain the water & fill it in certain areas is akin to what they use in ship repair yards (if I am not mistaken). They empty & fill areas at will to best fix the boat without beaching it. The room with the tied down furniture may have been like that once, but then fashioned by Granny in order to have a place of her own to relax in -perhaps reminiscent to her old rooms in the Depths pre-abandonment. That said, I agree with the majority of your theory. (Maybe the Granny developed gills & that is part of her power, just as the Lady has telekinesis?) Keep at it! You definitely have a knack for this. I enjoy these kinds of things. Little Nightmares is especially intriguing.
(SPOILERS FOR THE DLC AND MAIN GAME!! 🚨🚨) I find your observations on the Runaway Kid and (as I call him) bread boy to be rather interesting. But I do feel like they're the same person. From what I see, the DLC, like you said, obviously takes place before the main game. And in the DLC, the Runaway Kid is this confident boy who outsmarts the Granny and manages to successfully end her life. However, at the end of the DLC, he is captured once more and sits in a cage in a curled up ball of grief, before being dragged away to his doom by the Janitor. His hubris got the best of him and now he realizes he's paying for it. This realization probably struck him as he was caught and caused him to fall into a hopeless spiral of depression and dread. Now, I get that the Janitor wouldn't feed him, and then stick him in a cage, but I ask... Why not? The kids are fed to the guests and the guests' life substances are fed to the lady (this is my theory), so shouldn't you at least feed the children food before preparing them? As morbid as it sounds, think of how most farmers feed their livestock and plump them up before they slaughter them. And that's essentially what these children are to these creatures who find themselves on the Maw, livestock meant to be stuffed and eaten. This is just my take on it however and I'm open to anyone who wants to discuss!! (And his shackle was probably removed from his leg as you probably wouldn't want that to be in the guests food.)
I'd be willing to entertain this if it were not for the fact that once he's in the cage again he has the shackle on. Plus, there's been a recent data mine of the 3d models for a lot of the characters, on which I am going to do a video, which proves that the character models are not the same.
Children aren't just used for the food, remember this huge slabs of meat? The children on the maw are clearly not eating properly (apparently in this world not eating properly for a child apparently means your the size of a water bottle ) so they can't be those, if you play threw the game you'll find a secret area with a guest sleeping, later in a similar room with the door closed and one if the chefs in there cutting at something with a butcher's knife, just a theory
Maybe granny is like she sounds, she may be the mother to "The Lady". But why is she thrown away to rott? Well maybe her daughter (the lady) casted a spell at her and left her to rott. Evidence? Both have the skeletal kinda feel to them, in the last fight against the lady you can briefly see her skeletal-like fingers, and the face is maybe what she intends to hide. She want to be beautiful and the only way for that to happen is to make everybody else look extremely disgusting. Just a thought ;)
I watched this WHOLE FUCKING VIDEO! I was so confused as to why their was no commentary and then I realised that my headphones where plugged in wrong!! WASTE OF MY LIFE DUE TO MY STUPIDITY
I *spoilers* have a reason why the kid that gives six bread is not the run away kid becuz the dlc takes place before six's adventure and because the run away kid becomes a nome
Typisch Thomas While I could say the obvious statement of her being dead I am instead going to say that The Dephs and the time before Six finds the rotten meat in the cage happen at the same time so it can't be the granny.
oh wait, the maw surfaces to pick up the guests once a year, so couldnt that be what the buttons etc that raise the water are for? but on the other hand that means that the whole time youre down there youre raising and lowering the ship constantly like a seesaw so. up for debate
I know im late af but i feel like since there was a Guy Who hung himself who is clearly an adult there could be more people and the MAW is so big so there is No way that we explored the entire thing so there could still be more people like the hanging man that could have put that big bag with children in it for the granny. RANT, but what if the children arent human and dont decay by out standards
What if granny was getting older and older in the depths and could not die for some reason. And maybe she wanted to die, because when you need to switch the TV why would she break the thing that holds the TV? Someone is going to reply "Are you stupid? She tried to break it because of the runaway kid!". Well this is just my theory..
I think that the granny is in sixs piont of view because in the part with alot of shoes that could be granny because there is no flood and the granny can go without water so tell me is this true
The guests are eating the previous guests and the bodies of the dead children are used as fire fuel to keep the Maw going (as seen by the chimney that sticks out of the water no matter what.)
The Lady has lost her hold on reality and Six, her own daughter, must either take back the Maw or find a way to escape it by embracing her dark side.
JUST MY THOUGHTS! Obviously, not everyone will agree. Just speaking my ideas and seeing if any of them click with anyone else's theories.
Zethany I agree! What if the Maw was once a lively place and it only turned to hell when the Geisha inherited it?
That’s a really good theory
But that’s just a theory.
A Game Theory!
amiraaargh they did confirm that the maw was not what it used to be in the past
I think I just found my best friend on the internet
runaway kid is spiderman
This is the best theory so far.
Typisch Thomas no he's the father
Typisch Thomas 😂
Typisch Thomas YOU STUPID (as a joke)
Typisch Thomas lel
I forgot to add the last part, as revenge for her mistake she goes a genocide route taking in all sorts of creatures or even possibly deformed humans and fed them to the brim with their own CHILDREN, this was so she would never have to deal with such heart break again.
as for 6 becoming the new headmistress as I said for the boarding passengers of the maw they know they're going to die meaning 6 is doing as she's meant to.
The runaway kid is cody's vistigeal twin from the suite life of zack and cody.
+sim61642 This is my new theory platform. Lol
i wonder if they use the water/flooding mechanism in the lower levels in order to control whether the maw is underwater or above it? what do you think
trash mammal I think it's more of those areas in ship repair yards where they fix the boats without beaching them, y'know?
That sounds pretty plausible. Don't we already have tech that works this way, too?
Could also be for fishing. There's a picture of the entire Maw with what looks like fishing net behind it. The net pulls them in, the water empties out, leaving the fish.
i never thought that the runaway kid was the bread boy, mainly because the size difference
and besides it's impossible for the Runaway Kid to be the one who gave Six the bread because at that time, the Runaway Kid was at the depths of the Maw and he woke up in a 2nd nursery up above where the Janitor wraps the children and sends them to the kitchen.
If you think about it six was the last to escape the janitor meaning that the runaway was ahead of six
there is a theory out there that guesses the arm hanging out of the bag is related to the girl with the flashlight who escaped when the runaway kid is escaping from the prison but eventually got caught by the granny but i personally dont think so since the arm is at the very bottom of the bag which could actually mean the person who got caught has been in the bag for awhile unless the granny empties the bag often for whatever reason maybe she eats the bodies of the dead children but who knows if the granny eats them since fish and meat is already offered to her.
Which means that the shoe monster is not Granny or she moved up a few levels after being electrocuted.
maybe the child was chained becuz he knows the secrets that nobody knows
true good theory
I feel alright when he gave me bread
Okay about the part about the depths being flooded and how it wouldnt make sense to have draining systems. Well at first glance it may seem that way but if you think about it more it would actually make MORE sense to have a draining system in the Maw because you cant just build a giant submarine that holds MANY overweight people at once and not expect it to flood. They would have to have a system of draining of all the water incase of a flood.
I assume the raising and lowering of the water level is so The Maw could emerge and submerge.
Jim Tim Hahaha, forced labor? Tho with all the flooding, it's either she sucks at being a plumber orrrrrr the Depths were pretty much just abandoned.
Hitsuga Tatsuro well, I think we can agree that this is one of the less immoral things that takes place on the maw lol
I'm also really confused about that one girl in the dlc that the runaway kid follows before she disappeares I'm really hooked onto her and I think that she's alive but at the same time I think not
maybe the bread/runaway kid didn't get shackles yet, and maybe he was standing scared in silowet form for a reason happened
It seems weird to me
I like the granny theory good job -🔈
''its time for science!'' then goes to wikipedia
While I didn't get that info from Wikipedia, what's wrong with Wikipedia? There's SCIENCE on Wikipedia.
Arcanestatic Hi There
Once the Runaway Kid was captured and was dragged away, look in the room where the janitor wraps the dead children in the original story. Go near the cage where you can hide and the cage next to it is the Runaway Kid and he's still moving. Most people might have missed this since they were focusing on the janitor. But how will the Runaway Kid escape that cage?
+AwkwardAilene I looked at that as well actually-- I don't think it's the Run Away. It looks more like the same model of the kid that gives you bread.
Maybe the hunger is the outcome of forgetting who you are, you mindlessly feed like other creatures as you give into the odd supernatural power.
could the runaway kid and the bread kid be twins??
Strawberry Milk, possibly, who knows
Strawberry Milk maybe, because they have the same hairstyle
No the runaway kid is the bread kid
Andy the Gamer Kavra Helper no, it's explained why the runaway boy is not the bread kid. The runaway boy was caught by the janitor before six was given bread, and the bread kid didn't have a chalk on his leg like the runaway boy does
that is possible
I don't want the runaway kid to destroy the maw I want a sequel with more to it
Theory: The boy named "Maw" was the gnome that six ate. The one who offered the sausage
When six meets the janitor for the first time you hide under the runaways bed but a minute later you are at the cafetirea and there is the bread child there is no way the runaway could got there before six
Well, the bedroom we hide in is actually one floor down from the Runaway Kid's bedroom, but your point still is valid.
Breiona Edwards It was Lady with her hairs open and red dress on.
This seems like a sufficient explanation to me.
have you ever took your time and shined the lighter on the boy
maybe the bag with the arm is just food for the granny also I don't think the granny can survive out of water and maybe the place with the hand on the wall was flooded before
Zack7240 so she can't survive out of water, yet she was chilling in a chair waiting for the runaway kid, and then you know, she climbed out the water trying to get to you because she was tired if his shit.
+vikkieheartsyou the bread kid is a male character model, where the girl that RK follows is a female model
vikkieheartsyou yeah that girl couldn't have been killed ( at least by the leeches ) since that "blood" was ink from the leech and I'm guessing that the runaway girl got her hands and feet in the ink ( explains the prints ) then her footprints stop because the ink on her feet dried up ( you know how when you step in thick mud you leave prints for a little while ) and either the girl was killed by granny and is the one in the bag or she found a different way out (that vent that had a nome, and it was dark in the tunnel and she didn't have the flashlight) she probably went threw had a vent that something opened.
If the description of the DLC coming out in November titled "The Hideaway" is true, we might get a better understanding of the ship and thus maybe understand why flood those areas and why they change the water level in such weird ways.
amazing, loveing your videos more and more.
If im not wrong i have a model of the bread kid that the model is called:CapturedChildren1 and the flashlight girl model name is:CapturedChildren2
also:If u wanna see the bread kid model ill do a screenshot and post on community if u want
maybe the bread kid is the new character who appeared in little nightmares 2 trailer called mono?
It is possible. Bec.runaway kid is already dead in here. He is the Nome ate by Six.holding a Sausage
CENG VLOGS in one of the posters in Little nightmares 2 I saw the runaway kid behind the teacher. So idk
actually @Something that's the runaway kid BEFORE he got to the Maw and then he got the kernel on his leg
I been thinking the runaway kid is not him who throw him a bread...cuz how he will go there if he is in depth?
I think is must be Mono in little nightmare 2 a new character who will come journey with six...
Its not him.You can see him in comic so its probably a new character
if you jump and have your flash light out you can see him!!
Granny? More like gran-*maw*! Get it?
This comment is underrated
Lol
Round of applause for this gentleman
Where can u get those comic book, Little Nightmares
Maybe the Depts has all those switches just in case the place would be accidentally flooded.
The depths is most likely down at the bottom of the confinement building so they had machinery to cause less flooding
But the boy who gave Six the piece of bread or meat didn't stand like that at all in the game, in the game, he had a pretty similar standing pose as the runaway kid who a lot of people are calling him Seven. The comic seems to be making the kid who gave Six a place of bread or meat seem so whimpy, but in the game he seemed to look a lot like the kid from the cafeteria area.😶 And no, I'm not saying that they're the same person, I'm just saying that they look a lot alike and I'm kinda hoping that they'll do a dlc with that prisoner cafeteria kid and some of the girls that looked very similar to Six in the comics, cause that'll be so cool and interesting to add for the Little Nightmares horror game!!😆😆👍👍 And I kinda hope that they'll eventually make a multiplayer mod for Little Nightmares too!!!!😊😊
this pretty good
hey
ok.
that place have those water thingys cuz thats where the guests go befor they are getting killed. the guests are just sitting there or idk and than the water arae coming and killing them. that cold water thing is important to understand that, because, you see, they dont want the meet to decay.
(if ur using it so please give me credit.)
+TheNameIsMai I have no idea what you're talking about.
It cannot be The Run Away Kid because in the DCL he doesn’t have any hunger attack. So my theory is that is a captured child
The Run-away Kid is the Nome whit the Sausage!
It literally made me cry
if it takes a week at least to decay, but the runnaway kid its been there just a few days(sinces his not dying from hungre)
dont you think that arm might be from the girl with the flashlight, the one who desapeared.
I don't think so. We see other bulbous bags shaped like this one in the first area of the kitchen where you use the hanging hooks to get there. My guess is it's another kid, but not the girl.
what if the arm is from that girl that you follow in the beginning
seems too skinny for it to be her.
I'm sorry Dude I'm not hating or anything I LOVE your theory's but your voice for me is really hard to listen to your voice kinda sounds nasally and slightly irritating. But I totally love your theory video and I thank you for making them😅
Thanks for watching even though you don't like my voice!
I Love Your voice!!~ ^-^
I like your voice too :)
Yuna Lalin
Bruce lee sangat penting untuk smp negeri di kota jambi
(Maybe the Granny developed gills & that is part of her power, just as the Lady has telekinesis?)
Keep at it! You definitely have a knack for this. I enjoy these kinds of things. Little Nightmares is especially intriguing.
This franchise is ripe for speculation and theory, and I am just glad that people dig the things I have to say! Thanks for your support, Tatsuro.
The children on the maw are clearly not eating properly (apparently in this world not eating properly for a child apparently means your the size of a water bottle ) so they can't be those, if you play threw the game you'll find a secret area with a guest sleeping, later in a similar room with the door closed and one if the chefs in there cutting at something with a butcher's knife, just a theory
can you soon do a video of the granny?
I don't know if I can put together enough actually interesting content to make up a whole video about the Granny, but I will try!
Six is the bread child and they meet the runaway kid is taken by the janitor while six busts out
the janitor did the kids arm thing
because when six got cought and escape she saw the janitor is puting a child in a bag just like that one
I *spoilers*
have a reason why the kid that gives six bread is not the run away kid becuz the dlc takes place before six's adventure and because the run away kid becomes a nome
Remember the girl you chased while she Scape could of been her arm
I think the depths and the water systems in it help raise and lower the maw :D
but i realy think the granny is the beast living in the shoes
Typisch Thomas While I could say the obvious statement of her being dead I am instead going to say that The Dephs and the time before Six finds the rotten meat in the cage happen at the same time so it can't be the granny.
Glory to Arstotzka Hmm.. A new boss maybe? Or maybe we'll never know.
Hitsuga Tatsuro probably a boss for the runaway kid
oh wait, the maw surfaces to pick up the guests once a year, so couldnt that be what the buttons etc that raise the water are for? but on the other hand that means that the whole time youre down there youre raising and lowering the ship constantly like a seesaw so. up for debate
sage sage Lol.... I can only imagine the Lady raging on an upper floor like "WHO THE F*** KEEPS SHAKING MY SHIP?!!!"
Mary B.F.O.E :3 runaway kid: LIFE, DEATH, LIFE, DEATH, LIFE, DEATH
lady: *PATRICK*
runaway kid are im calling Charlie
I have a idea . You know that cage the janitor drags. It might be the boy from the dlc. The cage looks like it.. right is it just me...
You're correct. It shows you that little scene during the end of the first DLC.
I know im late af but i feel like since there was a Guy Who hung himself who is clearly an adult there could be more people and the MAW is so big so there is No way that we explored the entire thing so there could still be more people like the hanging man that could have put that big bag with children in it for the granny. RANT, but what if the children arent human and dont decay by out standards
dude that is the girls arm that dissapeared that let down the rope
runaway kid is mono right?
might see him again the next dlc character
What if granny was getting older and older in the depths and could not die for some reason. And maybe she wanted to die, because when you need to switch the TV why would she break the thing that holds the TV? Someone is going to reply "Are you stupid? She tried to break it because of the runaway kid!". Well this is just my theory..
Could it be mono?
Sort of a thing for some reason I knew this a long time ago when I saw the run away kid I though it was that kid who gave the bread to six
It could be mono from little nightmares 2
What happened 2 da runaway kid now?? Was he eaten or escaped????? Idk😑😑
I think that the granny is in sixs piont of view because in the part with alot of shoes that could be granny because there is no flood and the granny can go without water so tell me is this true
and the granny has no were to go with water so I think that is right plz put this on a vid plz
this I theory
this A theory of mine
😀💰💰💰
I don't think it's possible. The room with the shoes is too far away from the Depths to be easily travel-able.
No the runaway kid is not the bread kid he was at the depths and the granny is a spirit in a dead body and that's why she can breath underwater
Have you ever thought the grandmother is six's grandmother or the ladies mother?
+Clarify The thought has crossed my mind, definitely.
The person in the cage in six's is story is the run away kid
I think that the two cooks are wearing the heads of the guest....
👌
what if the maw is slowly sinking
Yes your super right
The fate of the runaway kid is
what if the runaway kid is six's brother
guys runaway kid came back for his sister six the rain coat girl in little nightmares
you said we could give you our theories so I gave ya one XD
