Banak La (4985 m) Traverse

6 days and 5 nights of trekking from Gutamsar (Astore) to Shagarthang (Skardu) via Banak La.
I crashed my drone twice on this trek - first at the initial campsite due to battery drain and the second time at Banak La Pass (5000 m)because of a high altitude error. I will share the full travelogue on TH-cam soon. Enjoy the highlights for now.
Trek Details:
3rd July 2023 - 8th July 2023
Gutamsar (Astore) to Shagarthang (Skardu) via Banak La (literally; the Boundary Pass).
Total Distance: 45 km
Elevation Gain: 2169m
The route:
Astore to Gutamsar via Hiace.
Day 1: Gutamsar to Urdung Gah (Allah Wali Jheel) (3,323 m) to Shaimose (3,460 m) to Rangdhano (3,550 m).
Day 2: Rangdhano to Horochar (3,740m) to High Camp (4,240 m).
Day 3: High Camp to Advance High Camp (4,609 m).
Day 4: Advance High Camp to Banak La (4,985 m) to Sabz Bagh
(3,961 m).
Day 5: Sabz Bagh to Thlashing Spang (3,700 m) to Shagarthang
(3,394 m).
Shagarthang to Skardu via Jeep.
