BEOMGYU & TAEHYUNG (V) are often referred to as "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON" duo, cuz them both have similar vocal colors, the best when it comes to facial expressions & even in terms of visuals & personality they are sooo alike (+ they both are from DAEGU... lol). Even BIGHIT acknowledges that similarity, cuz whenever TXT covers a BTS song BEOMGYU is the one who will be singing TAEHYUNG's parts.

Your reaction to the bit at 24:15 was CORRECT, and isn't it sad that that's not included in the official streaming version? Tragic imo. And I totally get what you mean about their vocal quality being so neat. Soobin & Beomgyu have a sort of dark and reedy quality to their voices. Kai and Yeonjun have bright and often nasally voices to balance that out, and Taehyun is really just something so unique WHEW. He's got it all. (He isn't my bias, either, I just really believe that as a music enthusiast LOL.)
My recs: "Can't You See Me?" and "Good Boy Gone Bad" based on your appreciation of Sugar Rush Ride, "Runaway" bc the song is amazing (the mv has a school boy magic mystery vibe), and if you can stand watching what's more like a 20 minute long fantasy short film than a music video (that technically has a lot to do with their official lore but can be greatly enjoyed without any knowledge of that stuff), I would like to give a strong vote to "Eternally." There's also a good performance video for "Frost" but I understand you might not want to double up on a song so soon.
And surely someone else in the comments has already said it but your boy Yeonjun here in TXT is besties with Ateez's Wooyoung AND SKZ's Changbin. They all met at Big Hit during their trainee days!

omg i feel like im being so annoying leaving multiple comments but you'd get notifications for edits to a single comment anyway so SORRYYY~ re: main characters, i know you were talking about like...the Center/Face of the Group when it came to music, but if you go by their narrative music videos, the BTS story's main character is Jin and Ateez's is Hongjoong. SKZ is a bit harder to pin down bc their narrative is an absolute mess LOL (I love them pls don't get me wrong). TXT kinda wobbles around a bit between central characters, which is really fun, but it often all comes back to Yeonjun.
