    You guys hit the nail on the head about what absence from baseball can do for your mindset.
    I’m a former D2 player that got hurt at the end of the COVID season. The very last pitch of the season was me tearing my UCL. It took me nearly 3 years from then and now to figure out what my injury was, have surgery for it and return to a baseball field.
    The difference being for me, I’m 2 years into my professional career in finance and am trying to figure out where baseball fits into my life now. But those 2-3 years were certainly a dark tunnel.

      its very hard, but adult league baseball and/or coaching can be a great outlet. kids need role models.

      @@DanBlewett I really agree with you here. I stopped playing baseball just before it became truly competitive and real scouts would be watching. It feels like a bummer, but the way back into the game is coaching for sure. I remember how awesome it was to have someone show me the mechanics of the game and just how impactful it was on our team to have the most talented/passionate coaches.
