Those beans are sprouting like crazy! Sorry about the birds who died, especially about the brick falling on one. Guess you cannot allow yourself to become too attached to them, but still...
Sorry about the birds dying, those with a navel not healed rarely survive. Try giving them liquid paraffin and antibiotic sometimes they can survive and can eat them because they can't be used for breeding or laying.
@@FarmUp I mean if I dont want to continuously buy layers. Are layers brooders? If I get fertile eggs from having the males around. Do I have to get other hens to sit or put them in a incubator.

I'm at the point of backing out. Please help. Good morning doctor. I want to appreciate you for your inspiration to me and many others through this channel. Please i really need your help and possibly anyone that can advice me, it is welcomed. I started poultry business January this year. My first set of broiler was 76 and only 2 died during brooding but surprisingly, when they reached 7 weeks, they started dying and about 30 died within a week. I had to sale off the rest to recover part of my investment. By may i brought in another set which all survived during brooding and also started dying again between 6 - 7th week and i lost all. Sad enough same thing happened this December. The once i brought in by September all survived during brooding and as I'm writing now, all is dead. They died exactly at 8 weeks. By September, i built a mini incubator of 108 egg capacity by myself and had my first successful hatch on 12th November. 32 out of 50 eggs. I allowed them stay in the brooder for 4 weeks and transferred them to the chicken house on Monday 12th December and today 14th, some are already showing sign of ill health like the previous ones. Please help me. I don't want to lose this ones again. I always give them Lasota on day 7 and 14, gamboro on day 10 and 17, other days i give vitamin and antibiotics and also give anticoccidia and typhoid vaccine. Dewormer on day 28 My whatsapp number is +2348037414655 Thanks
Sorry about that, pls consider hygiene, temperature or contacting a professional to come to the farm for onsite inspection. What feed are you using to feed them?
Airation is very important (that is free movement of air and biosecurity). How is your structure. This year I bought 700 broilers 550 survived and sold them off at 6weeks when they were weighing above 2kg dressed. Feed mixing is also important
@@bunacoorg9377 i buy already made feed from market. The best rated in my region. For airation, the 2 sides are well open and the other 2 side partly closed because of rising and setting of sun
God gave you a gift of generosity, and you always put it to good use.
Always grateful for the knowledge you share.
Blessings.
Well done Doc
