Everyone knows Scorsese's gang movies are excellent, but I feel like there's a bunch of movies in his filmography that get really overlooked. Especially The Aviator (which was pretty big at the box office, but doesn't really get talked about at all), Silence, and Bringing Out the Dead. I've seen youtube videos where they go through the Scorsese filmography and completely leave out Bringing Out the Dead. It's so unique and funny, I have no idea why it isn't more popular.
So I've sampled a handful of y'all's reviews, and very soon after doing so I smashed "SUBSCRIBE"! Because: God you guys are so interesting! It's truly a fun treat to watch you be so perceptive about great movies, or even a shitty one like Ridley Scott's "Napoleon," LOL. I'll never see all of your stuff, but I am psyched to at least check out more than just a handful, starting with "Amadeus" and "Full Metal Jacket"! Here's to breaking a Thousand soon -- you guys deserve it!
@@ThePlotPals You're quite welcome. 2001 a fave as well, aye? Y'all's excellent taste just keeps getting better, lol! Look, no worries: I don't usually go around dropping limericks into comments sections, lol, but here's one I wrote about Kubrick a few days ago. I was writing an email to a friend, mentioned Kubrick, and this bit of light verse just sort of popped into my head, so into the email it went, haha. It's silly (it's a **limerick** after all!), but it's freshly on my mind, and I figured fellow fans of Stan The Man might get a little amusement from it. Cheers! --A newly found screenplay of Kubrick's Told the tale of a hippie who threw bricks. 2001 Mad treatments were done, But the studios kept shouting: "Screw this!" ************** OK. I'll let myself out... 🤣
My favorite quote is "the code is more of what you'd call a guideline, instead of actual rules." from Pirates of Caribbean. I don't like the movie but the quote is golden rule of life.
Great reaction and analysis. New York/New Amsterdam has a long rich history and I enjoy how you explored this time period.
Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed it!❤
@@ThePlotPals Have you guys reacted to the movie "Alexander" there is a lot to explore between the Greeks, Persia, and India.
@@rafm3068 No, but my god I'm intrigued!
I added it to our movie list.🤩👍
@@ThePlotPals It was directed by Oliver Stone. Enjoy!!

Suggest to talk about the "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World". One of the greatest movie.
Master and Commander looks so interesting, thank you🤩
