Frank Hansen. From Davao to General Santos (GenSan) With bus 2007.

With bus from Davao to General Santos Philippines June 2007, to meet this great family Hemperoso. This bus trip is about 3-4 hours, so this is only high light from the trip. We nearly had a bad accident at "7.01" at this video…. In the video it don`t look so dramatic, but we nearly had a front to front accident with that bus.

This was a holiday bus with aircon, and we had one stop after 2 hour, I don`t remember the name of the bus terminal... I think that it was one bus with bombs, that destroy that terminal in 2008 (a lot of dead people, at the terminal, because of that). I had a travel with the regular bus going to every town and places, and without aircon. I think that the travel time was around double (6-8 hours)

Those were the days when now-defunct bus companies like Weena, Holiday (both now Mindanao Star) and Tacurong Express (now under Yellow Bus Line) used to roll the roads.

I can assure you that this video is from 2007. I did travel 4 times to GenSan via Davao during 2007. My last trip ended December 2007. I suppose that it has been a lot of changes from my last visit at GenSan.
