@@matthewvazquez2247he is using it as a simile. California does indeed control the water distribution through the state. It gets prioritized as the water commission sees fit. What a waste of freshwater, to have it dumped into the ocean, where it becomes undrinkable, and unusable. It could help prevent a lot of forest fires. Trump is right.
How exactly is the water going to be applied to the vast areas of forests and the forests kept constantly moist? That's impossible as is bringing water from Canada and Northern California to the Los Angeles area. Gravity and topography will not allow that. They could use more of the fresh water for use in the Central Valley, but the rest is wishful thinking. We need more water storage to take advantage of the wet years.

As for using the water to protect from forest fires, there are 33 million acres of forest in California. That's 33% of the state. How do you suppose we will distribute the water to those areas, and how much water would that require? The idea is insane.

@Riley_rolo it's obviously not true. A freaking faucet the size of a wall that takes a day to turn??? Come on man
@@matthewvazquez2247he is using it as a simile. California does indeed control the water distribution through the state. It gets prioritized as the water commission sees fit. It gets to be a big problem when CA is in a drought condition. Much of their water is distributed through canals and pipelines from other states. The state can ration the water and they do exactly that when in a drought. Snow melt in Northern California is a good source, but the rest of California is either bordered by desert type territory or the ocean (with un useable salt water).

Again water diversion is a HUGE part of the problem. Farmlands not getting enough water because if the diversion ARE NOT THE ONLY AREAS starving for water because if diversion. Consider reallocating from real estate to other reliable investments like stock, crypto or precious metals . Severe recessions offer market buying opportunities with caution, as volatility can yield short-term trading prospects. Not financial advice, but it may be wise to invest, as cash isn't ideal in this period.

Gravity irrigation works great in the Central Valley. It's not like there haven't been several ideas on how to get the water to where it's needed. It's cost prohibitive.
As for using the water to protect from forest fires, there are 33 million acres of forest in California. That's 33% of the state. How do you suppose we will distribute the water to those areas, and how much water would that require? The idea is insane.

But let me be clear I’ve put out fires, as the attorney general I’ve prosecuted transnational gangs, and we have to look forward to what can be, unburdened by what has been.
So he's talking about diverting the water from the Columbia River. So it goes west not south to the ocean. Canada, Washington and Oregon have already agreed to how that water is to be handled. You'd have to build a dam and then create a huge water system to California. Canada isn't going to agree to a dam and flooding their land behind it. And the cost when he is planning on cutting taxes everywhere? Who is going to pay for it? He doesn't know what he is talking about.

Where are all the Californians that will be voting for Trump for the 3rd time in a row? 🙋🏻♂️
Oh No!! Thousands of people are suffering for lack of water. Too bad, the smelts are endangered!! Priorities people! Priorities!!
Hopefully he can do something to redistribute the representation in California. The political monopoly there is outrageous.
They can't print money, but they can print ballots.

Yes, yes,yes!
Time has arrived for the business minded people to govern the country as toxic, corrupt and inept career politicians have failed dismally .
Do you know any competant business minded people? I only see a guy who has filed for bankruptcy and cant run a casino successfully
Many people dont realize the bankruptcy card is a tactical play for many top business people

I wish we could be a red state but I’m gonna make sure my family votes for Trump from California
Man, that was hellacious!!!!
Trump 2024!!!
LOVE THIS!!! Trump got California's numer down 😂 He brought Newsome to heel! BRING BACK TRUMP!
Notice how his answer has substance and specifically addresses the issue.
His answer did not address the question. How is diverting water for farmers going to stop forest fires caused by massive draughts.
@rssphllps
....Were you even listening?
@@steph769 Yes, were you? The question was about stopping the fires which will not be helped by diverting water to farmers. The vast majority of forest take place in the mountains, valleys and hillsides where there is no farming. Diverting water may help the farmers and may even be a good idea, but it wont address the fire problem which was what the question was.
How are you going to get the Columbia River that naturally flows west into the Pacific Ocean and send it south? Are you paying the taxes to do that?
Let’s hear the media ask Kamala a question like that.
Bird Dog9201, 😂😂😂 For REAL!!!! 😂
Venn diagrams 😅
😂😅😬
“California…… is a state in the USA……… with many people living in it…….. and those people deserve better”
Yeah, there’s really a big faucet somewhere in California that diverts the water, and Newsom won’t turn it because he hates people.
And the maroons here are actually buying it!
This is the MAN with the VISION ❤
WHO is going to PRISON 🤣
Californians listen UP!! Choose freedom over authoritarism
The problem is they think Trump is the authoritarian.
so, don't vote for Trump?
@@johnjansen2838 Case in point....
Lets build suburbs Republican style not Soviet Khrushchevkas like the Democrats

He's finally giving the answers to the questions we want to hear!
OK...but the question was:
What will do you for the people's home who are being damaged/falling off the cliff (in California) or by fire or chemical disaster.
His answer: You're going to get more water than you know what to do with.
@@user-fy7ru4ii1i no no. Listen again love. He was saying how there is alot of land in California that doesn't get used because water doesn't get reached there. So basically building new homes. I know with Trump you have to dissect what he trying to get out. Idk if it's the coke or ADHD. I don't think there would be a way to keep those homes from not being taken by nature unfortunately. At least if they build new homes close to where they are at, they could have a chance to move away. 🤷🏻♀️ it's probably a shit situation no matter what.
I think that s a good answer!
