The tiling work looks really beautiful. This is the first time I'm seeing the trims on the edging, that really gives it a more professional finish. GREAT JOB! ❤
Watching from Cincinnati Ohio. I am also building in Ghana so I am taking some lessons from your project. One day soon we shall all relocate back home. 🇺🇸 America has been good to us but Ghana 🇬🇭 is always home.
Lol, those are my words you using. I hope one day we will all make it home. Thanks for supporting the channel. Let me know if you need any help in your building process. 🙏🏽
The best? They're not using spacers or aligners. I'll say it a typical tile job to can get from lots of local tilers. Without spacing, the tiles are not going to hold well like they should. Also, I'm not sure why he had to scold them on camera. What's the point? So you look in charge or something?
My tiler fought with me to put spacers and I told him I didn’t want it because I didn’t like the look. I was willing to take the risk. Hopefully, it will be fine. Didn’t have intention to scold anyone on camera, sometimes things are not always nice and peachy. Hope you have a good day.
@@aberba Not necessarily. The use of spacers is not required. It depends on the climate, how well settled the house is, the consistency and quality of the foundation, tile cement, and tiles. If you cover your bases from the the foundation up, and use quality materials then you don’t need to necessarily use spacers. Use of spacers is optional, not necessary. Please be hesitant to criticize. Your stance might be baseless. You might be the uninformed one.
The coping also covers the sharp edge of the tiles to prevent cuts and also prevent slipping with its roughened surface. The unfortunate thing is this design of coping does come off easily with time. I'll advise to keep a stock of at least a box for maintenance over time. They're about 700 cedis per box so I see why many avoid the cost. There are other alternatives for the same function
Every stairs should have guardrails for safety. With the protrusion in the middle is something I designed to give the stairs some character rather than just straight stairs.
Grand rising, ive been watching your channel from the beginning really happy for your family, house looks fantastic and royal well done.( Can i please get the tiler number)

Nice tile work. l like the coping. where can l find them? Thanks
Thank you! West African Decor has them
Well done, Ali! Will the platform that protrudes above the living room have guardrails?
lol, yes of course, for safety.
Will the stairs have guardrails? Do you really need the protrusion at the middle landing?
