A really great Book ( besides Darwins of course ) concerning Darwins other works ( Orchids, Worms etc ) are the subject of the book " Darwins Backyard " by James T.Costa. Highly recommended.

What an incredible prediction towards the power of Darwinism.
Having received a couple of boxes of these orchids with these long 12" spurs ,
Darwin wondered what kind of creature might have evolved to pollinated such a plant.
I'm sure none of the natives , his horticulturist friend, or the other group of horticulturists
that were part of the expedition would have seen one of these flowers being pollinated.
I.m sure his friend Wallace ( who originated the naturalism thesis , but latter disagreed with)
who suggested that it might be a moth similar to the African Sphinx Moth which itself has about a 10" tongue would have had no bearing on the amazing predictive power of
evolution to predict ( thats probably very doubtful considering all the information that was already known) something thats already existing .
Another example of the silly antiquated speculations that are used to support Darwinism.

that was great video. But I am ashamed because of the numbers of the people who watched this video. Greetings and appreciation from Turkey.

Thank you! great video. I still don't think this is compelling evidence for Nat Selection as a driving mechanisms of evolutionary processes. I am still puzzled by this.

Question for anyone who knows. What are good references in which naturalists of the time would claim that flowers were created by god for the "beautification of man" as it is stated here 3:40 th-cam.com/video/QYT68Q_PKmQ/w-d-xo.html
    Thank you in advance!
