Transportation of goods like luggage, boxes, gas cylinder etc. from one place to other is our daily requirement. Generally hand trucks are employed for transportation of good on the flat surface but they fail when the goods are required to be transported on stairs. In this project, an attempt has been made to design and fabricate a trolley that can transport goods through stairs. Our aim is to find the best mechanism that fulfills the objective and to provide best aesthetic and ergonomics features to the product. The heart of the trolley is the Tri-Star Wheels that enable trolley to transport goods on stairs. The problem with your design as I see it is that the tires will hit the cargo unless the cargo width is very narrow.

It looks like its being pulled up the stairs and the motor is being turned by the rotation off the central axle driving the chain! Am I correct in my thinking?

instead of using motar, try spring or rotatory string so that you donot need elctricity /battery . give some manual rotating way

@@srrobotics bro i feel suspension or impact spring might be required.....when ur climbing up is ok but when pushing/ pullying down ....that axle will be under stress
