Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, good work 👍😁 your horse gate is not strong in nuff if she leanes over it it will break, don't worry about the planks getting wet in the shower room they don't live so long anyway and soon you will rebuild the main house and then you can shower there.
We're very lucky that fly isn't a leaner. Before we built the gate there was just a piece of tape there and she never goes near fences, she's so well behaved especially as she can jump double that height hahaha. Hope you're having a good week 😊😊😊
Good job guys!!! Just remember when setting up doors or gates cut your vertical boards at 1-2% angles on each side of where the doors meet in middle will give you slight gap to allow doors to open and not hit each other when they close but still not have a big gap on the outsides. Might need to see what your well pumps max head space is? If you are down 60-70 meters you will probably need 1 1/2 to 2 hp pump to get any real decent flow of water. If what you have now is 1hp pump at 60-70 meters that is pushing the limits at 60 meters and most likely be beyond the pumps ability at 70 meters.
Ahhh that's great advice about the angles that's in my brain forever now thankyou 😊. The pump is 1.5hp I believe so hopefully enough for what we need but we do need more power 😬
Yeah he's a really good bloke. We E been doing a few things this week mainly uncovered a very old well so basically I'm covered in bramble thorns hahaha 🤣
Tin fence panels or corrugated panels, metal.. Good luck finishing the bathroom.. It seems the Autumn weather is testing is it’s wings.. Hoping you are settled into your bathroom before it sets in cold.. Love and bubbles❤️🌸❤️🌸❤️
The cutting board looks beautiful! What type of oil are you using on it? Ok you just answered my question so I'm editting, food grade oil! ❤That looks like a turnip!? Yum!
The vegetable looks like a rutabaga. Rutabaga and turnip are both root vegetables, but they differ in taste, appearance, and nutritional content. Rutabagas are larger, with a yellowish color and a slightly sweet, milder flavor. Turnips are smaller, often white or purple, and have a peppery taste. Rutabagas tend to be starchier and have more calories, while turnips are generally lower in calories and carbohydrates. Cooking methods can influence their textures and flavors.
How about hanging curtain rods from the ceiling and then putting clear shower curtains on all around the shower, all three sides. You close them when you're showering and open them when you're finished. Just an idea
Bostik multi purpose waterproof outdoor paint is brilliant for wood the rain doesn't soke into the wood. Also the plastic panels would keep the wind and cold out during the winter. I would do both
yeahhh our grandson is named teddy ,hes beautiful ty ,went to meet him today ,i love walt he is a lovley dog ,so gd with kittens n ur horse , ooooh i love ur gates well done u two ,love watchig u guysxxx
You guys are so creative. Love watching the progress you guys have made, as I’m new to the channel. Thank God the match incident wasn’t worse. I would get kittens checked for worms so the dog doesn’t get them. Animals are definitely like a dry run, before becoming actually parents 😆. Btw keep boxes you can cut them into strips, glue them together to make a scratch board for the cats. Many blessings and ❤
I know right I thought for a second I was blind .... Very very lucky. That's a great idea with the cardboard and the cats I'm doing that for sure 🐈🐈🐈🙏🙏🙏
Another great video ,lovley couple ,you got soo much done ,,so gd all your energy ,kittens are amazing , yeahh that plastic stuff u said may look gd in shower room perspex yeahh ,will look great what ever u decide , i do love your dog xx
Awww thankyou so much Walt is truly a one of a kind dog so gentle and caring, he's one of those dogs you will never forget. Really hope he lives to be 20 🐶
Heya you two, you had me at the first knot and totally lost me after the second hahahaha. Too bad it didn't work with the pump, this might be the reason why. Rule of thumb is, the longer a cable is the higher it's resistance will be and therefor the lower the output will be. it's called the law of Ohm. It could indeed be that the Stanley is not powerful enough. I could ask a colleague if you want to. The kittens are so funny!!! Nice going with the hatch there in the bathroom and I think the idea with those roofpanels could work nice as a wall, it will take away a lot of the charm of the wood though. Anyways, great plans so onwards. Oh, nice work with gate there as well and I am not going to say I told you so, finish those walls 😜 Have a great week!!! Cheers Bert 🙏🏻❤
Thanks dude yeah I worked it out using ohms law and it's just on the cusp of working, such a shame I need to try and rent a generator with a bit more juice. I recon a 4kw one would be perfect. Yeah I would ideally like to see the wood as it's beautiful maybe some sort of plastic
Great job with the gate and the pump guys! A lot of work I can see! About the pump I have one observation, if for some reason you need to take it out before putting it in use electrical tape and tape the pipe, rope and cable all together, every meter or so, this preventes premature wearing from the natural movement of the pump when going on and off inside the pipe, and if for some reason the rope or the cable fall to the bore it will get snagged on the tape! The pump might not be working because your generator is not giving the right voltage or frequency! If you have a way to do it make sure it is giving 230V 50Hz, the pump might not have strength to start otherwise!
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos :) Luckily nothing happens to the eye! I thought that the bore hole is placed in the little stone building?
@@escapetothequinta a few weeks ago we had a couple of days of sun but it's been raining a lot nearly every day since, we have had no summer and now it's dark by 8 30om.not good. Ah Birmingham yes I know where you mean, 😊
Hahah I get this a lot, it's funny as we are both tall and live here and both from the same place in Birmingham hahah not brothers though just good mates he's a quality lad 😊👍🏻

Rusty roof panels for shower stall or maybe other old roof materials .
Could be nice and rustic 🚿
Well done guys. Good progress
Thankyou so much 😊
Love your videos and your cats whom all will be very mischievous later on-lol.
You both are hard workers and the bread board is very nice.
Thankyou Jenny means a lot 🤗🤗🤗
I had 2 cats 🐱 the color as the orange color one and we called them Mac and Cheese lol
That would be a great name hahaha 🐈😺
The gates are perfect! Nice work you two❤❤

Great video, good job, the gate 💯, the sink 💯, and the kittens so cute 🥰🥰

I think I may go with that idea I think they could look cool 😎. We are so not ready for autumn yet hahaha 🤣
Everything's looking really good
Thankyou we really had fun making this .... Hopefully it all lasts a while.haha
Everything is looking great! The only thing I would do differently would be the base for the sink you need something bigger. Sending you a big hug.
I know what you mean problem is we are short on space hahaha a wider one would be nice 🙂
The cutting board looks beautiful! What type of oil are you using on it? Ok you just answered my question so I'm editting, food grade oil! ❤That looks like a turnip!? Yum!
I think your right on the turnip. I think it's a mix of tung oil and danish oil 🪔

The washroom roof plastic panels are perfect for the water and humidity issue. It's easy and practical.
Thankyou and it's super flexible which helps as it will easily bend around the corner section 🤗

The little orange cat should be called McVitie 😂 ❤❤
I like that name hahaha or jaffa
Hiya can't you clean downstairs out and use that as a work place .then you can a nice clear space upstairs ❤
That's the plan ☺️ too many tools up here haha. Will be a nice workshop down there 😁
It’s a turnip…
Is it ahhhhhh I wonder how it was just randomly there nothing else like it around 😆

Your right I think I need a 4kw generator to get it started 😬 ⚡
@@escapetothequinta Yep you don't have enough strength to initiate movement with all the water on top
Yeah exactly it's like it needs 4kw to start and then 1.5 to run going to go to a rental shop today to see if they rent generators
@@escapetothequinta Why don't you get a soft start? if you have enough power for it to run you only need it to not peak on start, so....
What's that dude?
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thankyou ☺️🙏🤗 🐈😺
Are you planning to keep all the kittens?
Oops, too quick posing my question, I see you already have homes for some.....
Maybe one or however many font get homes hahah
Little Roo may have to stay with us he's lovely .... Well they all are haha
Needs more watts my borehole 68m 0.75cv pump needs 1800w to turn on then lower to 1600w
Thankyou well my generator can do 2.9kw apparently but maybe I need 4kw perhaps? 😬⚡
You're getting there!!
Slowly but surely, thanks for watching 🙏🏻
It is always a pleasure to watch your videos :)
Luckily nothing happens to the eye!
I thought that the bore hole is placed in the little stone building?
I was so lucky I am honestly thanking my lucky stars haha. I think there must have been a generator in that room previously maybe 🤔
Great video guys, keep up the good work 👌
Thankyou Sue have a lovely weekend 🤗
You too, just wish we had sun to enjoy the weekend it's flipping freezing in Manchester brr ☺️
Ah Manchester! I am from Birmingham. I've heard it's been raining quite a lot. Have you had some nice days though too?
@@escapetothequinta a few weeks ago we had a couple of days of sun but it's been raining a lot nearly every day since, we have had no summer and now it's dark by 8 30om.not good. Ah Birmingham yes I know where you mean, 😊
Oh no well hopefully it's a mild autumn..... I love that time .... Bonfire night and german markets etc 😁
ahhh great nice you gt eachother to help , i love your girlfriend shes soo nice ,a lovley couplexx
Awww thankyou 🤗🤗🤗
Any chance of a Q&A ?
Yes we can do at some point, any specific questions you had in mind?
@@escapetothequinta What you did in the UK workwise really.
Nice yes I'll start a list and do a Q&A soon 😁😁😁
@@escapetothequinta Thankyou.
🤗
Swede? Is it pale orange inside? Perspex is expensive that size for your shower. Have you thought of just a clear shower curtain? 😊
I think it's fully white with a purple top .... Maybe a turnip? Shower curtains may be the cheaper option. Thanks for watching have a great weekend 😀
Plexiglass?
Yeah that could work for sure 😁
tin roof panels for the bathroom?
I do really like that idea but I don't want them to rust may make my own 😁
Old tin roof ? Tin roof panels ?
That's what I was thinking but maybe I'll make one ☺️
just quick question are you related to the lad in indie project ,you 2 are so alike ,are you brothers ???? xxxx
Hahah I get this a lot, it's funny as we are both tall and live here and both from the same place in Birmingham hahah not brothers though just good mates he's a quality lad 😊👍🏻
