I've been following this channel for years and never commented but i've got to say you really convey the beauty of these landscapes like none other,I especially like when you walk with Gerry and we get to listen in on the lovely chats you have,Gerrys voice is really calming as is I've got to say the entire channel is ! If I ever want to calm down and destress and I'm stuck in the house I just put one of Scotland's Mountains videos on and feel all the stress melting away, and for that Sir I thank you :)
Lovely double header Murray. Next trip to Scotland I will definitely tackle at least one of the Arrochar Alps. So glad the knee did well on the way down. It's like you hit the reset button by starting back where you decided to address the pain. Well done 👍
Glad your knee held up. I really enjoyed that. The thing you were thinking of was the first poem I ever learned in the primary one class of Blairgowrie High School. The North wind shall blow and we shall have snow, and what will the Robin do then, poor thing? He'll sit in a barn and keep himself warm, and hide his head under his wing, poor thing!
Brilliant video Murray! Really enjoyed the humour in this one, and it's always great to see you and Gerry in the mountains😊👌. Gerry's knowledge of the mountains is second to none👍. We are glad to hear the knee has improved, bet it feels great to be back to doing what you love. Thanks as always for taking us along, ATB Shell and Pete
Aah great you managed the hill ok, and nice to see Gerry. I need to explore that area. I always stop at the Rest for a coffee when im to and fro to the Sth. I guess that was Loch Restil you were looking down on, on the descent. You just have to laugh at kids 😉 take care Murray, thanks for sharing your video Alioban x
Hey Murray, glad your knee is improving! Look after it, the replacement option is not fun! (LOL). It's always so enjoyable to watch your adventures. Who needs hollywood, when you can watch Scotland's Mountains & the adventures of Murray. Cheers
Good to see Gerry along, glad the knee is coming good. You are inspiring me to go climb a hill. Been thinking of climbing the Dutchmans Stern, its not far from home, can see the top from the house. Used to do a bit when I was younger but its been a while. Thanks for sharing as always.
Heyup Muzza!! Yet another documentary quality vlog💥 We're happy to hear your knee's good and hope it stays strong, like bull🦬😃. P.s. your camper van is the dogs..👍
@@ScotlandsMountains kudos for helping get so many people together for such a good cause. So many people out there wanting to do good things. Makes the heart sing!
Hi Murray, great to see Gerry again and also your son back out with you. And even better news, great to see your knee didn’t give you any jip. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
Love this wee film Murray. It may sound ridiculous but this is my part of Scotland. I've only been here for the last couple of years though -I was south of the border for too many years before that! I'm going to start getting out in the mountains this year and this film has really helped me make sense of my area in a way that the 2D of a map never could. Thanks very much to you and Gerry for this film! All the best, Ewan
Every video you give us is a delight to watch and it’s always good to see Gerry. He adds some great information. That shot as you were leaving the forest looking out to the blue skies under a canopy of branches- beautiful! Great the spooky third person could join you too. Thank you. 🏔⛰🥾🤖😀😃👍
Great video Murray cruach tairbeirt is one of my favourite places to camp although as mentioned on the video the ticks can be a nightmare.Good to see Gerry again when is his next book out?😉. All the best Thomas mc
@@AlpinistGGerry nice one, I’ve done a few of the routes in your other book. The Glen Luss route is very nice, I added an extra few miles on and camped up beinn dubh was nice with all the bluebells about.
Ah..you fooled us with the mysterious third person! That was a nice hike with beautiful views. Going through the woods is also nice to see Well filmed as always..nice to hear your knee is mending Take care 🇨🇦❤️
That was Beinn Chabhair and An Caisteal, not Cruach Ardrain. Did the wee woman down at the station give you into trouble for parking then going up her hill? ;D I climbed this a few years back after the Glen Loin Loop, a brilliant wee viewpoint, cheers!
Hi Murray, good to see your knees are good. Wanted to ask you something? Have you ever done the lochaber 4000’s? Done it last weekend was superb day out if not long and hard. The challenge I found was way down from Aonach mor onto east ridge of carn mor dearg. Hard going. Anyway just wanted to see if you have had any experience with this. You take in Aonach mor, Aonach beag, carn mor dearg and the arête then onto the Ben.
I’ve not done them in the one go. I was thinking of doing this round just before Xmas but ended up in Knoydart on that trip - maybe one day of the k re get back to 100%🤞🤞 Thanks for watching Murray
Nice video Murray and I'm glad your knee held up. The views from the top remind me a bit of the fjords in northern Norway where I live. When did you shoot this video? We were still getting a wee bit of snow on May 17th, but lately we've had beautiful weather.
Always interesting content Murray you never let us down,(how’s the knee)🗻🏔just got back on to the scotch eggs.goes down well with a nice merlot.(that’s in my kitchen, not on the hill.
Great news about the knee! Glad things are going the right way and that taking it easier over the last few weeks and months is paying off.
The drone footage at Geal Charn was spectacular. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic footage Murray. Never seen Ben Lomond from that perspective. Just goes to show you don’t need to climb a Munro for great views.
Very beautiful view 😍😍❤️👍🏻

It was like an episode of the Twilight Zone, Murray 😂
Another great video. Although when you walked away from the van on the 2nd day I was shouting "you've left the pop top up". Now we know why 😀
