@@wouter.d.h.It will be a lot more expensive anyway, that is for sure. Probably it will be better in some areas and worse in others. The Vivo x100 ultra will come shortly after the Xiaomi 14 ultra though and that will also upgrade the cameras

Thanks for the comparison. I received my Vivo X100 Pro (Hong Kong/Global Version) yesterday, and it doesn't have 4k on the front camera yet. I can't wait to up my macro game, over my Oppo Find X5 Pro. It's going to make a big difference to my reviews I think. As I use my phone to record them as well.

I am using vivo x90 pro plus with Origin OS, and it is really fantastic, the phone is v fast and never crashes, the widgets also are v nice and lively, the only 2 things u have to make some effort first in the beginning is deleting the bloatware and disabling all battery optimizations which preventzs the notifications from appearing real time, but once u done that, u will really enjoy it so much
Great comparison. One minor issue was at the end when doing the selfie video at night - the Oppo light assist affected the Vivo recording. If they were done in isolation, would the Vivo's recording be different? Both camera phones are great, but it is down to privet availability and support!
Oppo is sharper and brighter and especially in the background.

Thank you so much for the Vivo X100 pro reviews.... I've finally decided to go and get one to upgrade from my beloved Huawei P30 (which I was able to buy before Android and Google etc were cut off). I would've wanted to upgrade to a Huawei P50 but I cannot live without Android and Google and all the other standard socmed like IG and FB. So it's the Vivo X100pro for me. I truly appreciate your very informative reviews and comparisons!

Oppo doing a great job with the main camera.. OIS is better than Vivo but zoom on vivo is great.
I like vivo more almost in every shot in daylight. More details, stabilation, natural colours, autofocus amazing. In the night vivo was too bright and not so natural as oppo. But still got more details. On selfie I prefer vivo. Im fun for oppo in general and I need to be honest here that on camera vivo is better in my eyes
Hi Dariusz. Nice camera comparison. In my opinion HDR on Oppo was off in colors Vivo was more accurate. Night time, just like you said Vivo looks brighter than Oppo. Oppo was more pleasent in colors. Maybe is tapping on the bright lighted areas the software and ai would darken it a bit, or with slider if darkening a bit on Vivo would be same like on the Oppo. Both camera beast of phones. I'm curious about the global Xiaomi 14 Pro and Honor Magic 6 Pro if you gonna be able to get those too for a bit more detailed and longer comparison all these 4 brands. :)

Having seen also other comparisons between these 2 camera phones I feel like they are definitely the best ones out there right now... They are pretty much on par, one wins in some conditions the other wins in others but I still prefer the Vivo overall for my personal taste. Something non-camera related that is way better in Vivo is the screen so that's another reason I would choose it, even if aesthetically the Oppo probably looks more professional in one's hands. Also portrait mode maybe is better in the Oppo but night light detection is great in Vivo, the sky might look more artificial but the quantity of stars it can detect is incredibile and also the neons and light bulbs look more realistic.

Vivo camera needs to develop portrait edge detection so much. Bokeh is just on the spot. Videos tend to low contrast, this also should be updated. And night photography also. Oppo shots are amazing in the night

Prefer the Vivo for the human skin tones and detail, prefer the Oppo for landscape and black and white. Given both phones I would opt for Oppo based on phone OS alone.

This is why I don't trust the DxoMark rating lately, the X100 pro is ranked at 13 whereas we can clearly see that the x100 pro tops the find x7 ultra in most of scenarios. The same story is applicable with the Honor magic 6 pro.

In fact you have portrait video mode integrated in Oppo Find X7 Ultra, you just need to go to regular video on the selfie camera and set the F to have more or less blur.

The only major problem with the Vivo x100 pro is the night sky on night photos. It always turns blue and is completely unrealistic. This was also an issue with the x90 pro and pro+ and it hasn't been fixed

The Honor camera is very slightly better but this one is excellent. And apparently it does shoot upto 8K video. So it's only the display but apparently if you put it on 'Adaptive...", it gets brighter outdoors than doing it manually... 🤷

Are all of the Google apps works?-Maps, Google Pay, Gmail, Google Lens, and Google Translate-functional?
All work's fine except. Android Auto and Google pay
How about notifications on Vivo? Are they working all ok? No missed / delayed emails etc? No need to put apps to "always running in background" or pin them etc? Will my Samsung watch sync ok? Are app switching gestures working with non-default launcher?
So far so good.My only disappointment is that the Chinese version doesn't support Google pay and Android auto

The Oppo doesn't have the cinematic mode in video? Seems odd, since so many other camera phones have it. Maybe it was a setting in the regular camera app, without a dedicated "mode" maybe?

@@mariogrifus8020You will definitely get a worse signal in some rural areas of the UK and rural areas of many European countries as they rely more on band 20 due to the wider coverage of this band but in more urban areas it shouldn't make too much difference as they will have other bands available.
Thanks for the excellent video. Vivo x100 pro camera is very good and much better than new samsung, google, or iphone but I had to sell it due to some strange effect, oversharpening or excessive HDR effect that spoil the images. I am not even sure what is it. On the phone the images look amazing but when I look at them on my LG 4 oled screen I don't like them. I used to own Xiaomi Mi 11 pro with slightly smaller camera sensor (1.12 vs 1") but the images look more natural and are still as sharp as those from Vivo. They are free from that strange effect I don't like in vivo. Thought about trying Oppo find x 7 ultra but I am afraid now looking at the comparisons. Thanks anyway.

Dystrybucji nie ma, ale o ile nie przeszkadzałoby Ci uzywanie fona w j. angielskim ,to śmiało zamawiaj z tradingschenzen (tylko pamiętaj, żeby kupić wersję wspierającą pasmo sieci B20 ). Ja tak zrobiłem i jestem turbo zadowolony. S23 Ultra się chowa i S24 U chyba też.
