I'm so proud of Yuta because he has improved so much since 2018 when Back 2U was released. I notice there's time that he had difficulty in developing his vocal, but now he's so good, his techniques are far more mature than before and he even add some twist and flavor to his tone that only belongs to him. Chef's kiss!

This is definitely one of my favorite killing voice videos, I think I watched 100 times already. I swear to God that NCT never disappoints when it comes to music. The production and the vocals always shine, and even if you don't like 2 baddies as a song, the music video is amazing.
OMG, there you go! I strongly agree about Doyoung voice. Idk why i dont see many people hyping him up in that killing voice video. For me personally Doyoung voice stands out the most. His husky tone is like the sexiest breeze of the night blowing the curtains on the open bedroom window and whispering into my ears. Literally the sexiest husky voice i've ever heard in my entire life.

@@mauliyaww Doyoung is my favorite vocalist in NCT but somehow Taeyong singing voice is right up my alley for some reasons. Ty singing voice in "Limitless" got me into this group. Hope i coud hear him singing more in the next comeback.

I fell in LOVE with doyoungs voice all over again this cb and he really shines here! The songs selections were **chefs kiss** and I really love 2 baddies as a song! Its definitely up there with some of my fav 127 titles tracks

2 Baddies isn't my fav title track from 127 but it is loads of fun to watch! It's definitely one of their performance heavy songs that really needs to be seen on stage. And the dance practice is stunning!
I am just glad they showed such a range of their discography (although 15 songs barely scratches the surface) and we got to hear all their voices and many styles. Each one of them is so freaking versatile

Definitely agree with you on your take on SM idols training, personally they are my favourite in the industry like the technique, their voice colors, their styles... oh and Doyoung has so much soul in his voice he reminds me of EXO D.O, he deserves much more recognition

It's interesting that you mentioned Taeyong's pitch control because he once said that he is actually a little tone-deaf and has had to work really hard in that respect. The boy couldn't dance, sing, rap, nothing, and now look at him! Can't wait for you to check out the MV, but I highly recommend their Studio Choom performance too! Wow!

I watched this yesterday and was SOO HAPPY. Like, their R&B songs are what make me a fan. It really reminded me why I enjoy them. I also respected Jaehyun's vocals and rap abilities a little more through this video, too. He's not my favorite singer, but he's been consistent since debut. Doyoung & Taeil & Haechan

I am not sure if this is what you mean about designer but... I did a little experiment, if you adjust the speed to 0.90 in designer the instrumental sounds really similar to Nelly-Dilemma, also I see some resemblance in the structure of both songs. For example in Dilemma there are simple notes and only vocals in the first seconds of the song and after that, there is a rewind sound effect, on the other hand, Designer starts with a tougher melody but has the same rewind sound before the whole motive in the song develops.
I am neither a producer nor a musician at all lol this is just my observation, both songs are definitely bangers

They actually filmed this with their in-ears, so the music is just coming off from their in-ears and in the studio, only their raw vocals are being heard by the production staff. They filmed this twice, too, so at the end of shoot, their voices are gone. Mark and Johnny said they filmed this like they were recording.

Excuse me I just gasped when I heard you say you never heard 2 Baddies before doing this - ok! hehehehe :D I'm over here trying to figure out who (if?) I have a bias in NCT - so adding another listen through of this with your analysis is really going to help me I think... or I'll confirm my confusion. HAHAHA I've been a fan of NCT casually for quite a while, like generally all units title tracks I've loved but I haven't learned members names (although I knew Mark, Johnny and Taeyong

OK - soooo I am totally with you about the 2 Baddies song - but it GREW on me. But I still am a little weird about the chorus, although the production elements in the chorus grew on me, but I still am kinda O_o about the chorus lyrics. Not a fan. In the song and MV, my favorite moment is actually Haechan's "to the moon" but I have realized after putting vocals to names in their other songs and this live, that his voice is usually too nasal for my preferences, even though I love him. Jaehyun is a strong bias contender (smooth vocals, really nice rap vibes as well), but it might be Doyoung for me - although I have to say Taeil is usually my bias type so it might end up being him in the end after all. And then there's Mark - Mark ALWAYS pulls my eye during choreo full group moments, and I've also always been a fan of Taeyong so idkidkidk I'm still confused so I just need more NCT 127 right?
And YUTA's vocals here! RIGHT? I was like OH he can SING, so relaxed and great sound.

Yuta’s vocals are being slept on. It’s so sad 😓 unfortunately that’s the “downside” of a group with such strong vocalists. A song is only 3 minutes. It must be difficult to showcase every single one.
