Awesome video, thanks for sharing. I know that torch swaps are a struggle sometimes. My last went so similar. Glad you got it all up and running and cant wait to see what youll be making on it going forward.
Thanks for watching! I'm not the most mechanically minded person so it is definitely not my strong point but I appreciate the solidarity and wanted to show others they are not alone if it's a pain in the butt for them too 😂
I can't wait to see what you make with all this extra power! I liked the video because you don't assume that your viewers know it all. I'm fairly new at flamework so I'm looking forward to picking up some pointers. Thanks for being real!!
I considered that but didn't want to leave hose fragments on the old torch in case I decide to use it or sell it in the future... but thanks for the recommendation.
i have had a phantom for a while now want to go larger but maybe later i love my phantom i probably should have gone with mirage when i bought mine edit: make sure you always keep the center fire cracked watch gtt videos so yo u dont get the face burnt up

Thanks for watching! We all started somewhere so I'm glad you found it helpful :) Best wishes for your lampworking journey
I used a blow dryer to heat up the hoses to make them a little bit easier to slide.
I'm sure it didn't help that it was still below freezing outside- I'll keep this tip in mind for the future, thanks! :)
Wow you can cut those hoses. You’ll only lose 1/4”

a little spit and a heat gun is how i do it 😀
nice torch btw you will never need a new one. mine is 22 years old and still working as if it were new
Glad to hear that- so far I am loving it! So hopefully I wont need the heat gun and spit for awhile but I'll keep that in mind lol
