I think the creators believed that Craig being bi wasn't perceived as organic considering he was already characterised as having relationships with Ashley and Manny. I mean, they gave Paige a biromantic attraction to Alex, but it was probably to pander to the men who fetishise lesbians. Still, Craig definitely has that kind of vibe with Marco.
