In 2018 Hurricane Florence dumped 40 inches of rain on Wilmington, NC, where I live. Totally flooded my basement living level. We were able to get it cleaned out but no one to repair it for about18 months. Before we could get that damage fixed, almost one year later another hurricane with tornadoes wiped out all my backyard, totally mangling and uprooting all my big oaks and pine trees. Now my yard is HOT and sunny from May-late October. You just have to cope.

Last year I learned and installed 1/4” drip lines in both of our yards & also have started using Espoma brand Plant Tone when planting and we do weekly SuperBloom to make our flowers live their best life! I think the vista bubble gum will look really nice in the swoop that you did and then the size they will grow into will add the punch that you were looking for.
