@@BogDustForBreakfast I just finish school for collisions repair refinishing a year ago I'm trying g to learn everything I can I'll be following your videos closely! The gun u used do you think it's better than the DV1 are itawa
@@damincobozeman4114 i own the Dv1 as well . fan size is roughly the same as the 360 light . the only noticeable difference is the weight . the walcom 360 light is much lighter and comes in a hard box for storage and a rebuild kit . where the Dv1 doesn't
if you look back at my earlier videos i used to spray at home i built a make shift booth out of timber and covered it in plastic , used a booth filter either end and had a industrial fan blowing filtered air through the booth
@@Shawn-p8w in a down draft booth ? No . You want paint to atomise out of a spray gun . When painting metallics or sfx colors this will help getting it even
@@Shawn-p8w having a open fan is perfectly fine mate . Just tack rag before you clear it . You’re always gonna get overspray when spraying in a shed . Best thing to do is keep fans running and remove all color overspray from the shed before you clear and all clear over spray before you turn the fans off when you’ve finished painting
@@jeremyoetken2094 its structured in a way which alters the atomisation for finer particals . It does lay down a flatter finish. I’m using the 1.2 HTE MP

Ok with your fan open that much doesn't it cause overspray?

@BogDustForBreakfast ok what about if you don't have a booth. Just a garage with vent fans?

Have you tried the walcom mp air cap for clear?
Sure have use it every time and love it
I am wondering how it differs from the regular hte air cap. I ordered the mp and hoping it has a flatter finish
