Hey everyone! Just a few notes here: 1. I believe CircledIn is working on improving the situation with Verizon plans so the address and alternate contact number are not shared. Please speak with CircledIn to confirm what information may be shared with other group members and that you feel comfortable with how the system will work. 2. i’ve been with circled in for a while, but recently customer service has been horrible. i requested to port out but they want to charge me $500 so they are refusing to let me port out. also i signed up for their streaming service and i’m getting charged, but am unable to stream Hulu and yet again, they’re unreachable. at this time i just gave up circled in. they have an interesting concept, but if you need help with your service, you have to wait till they open and if they get back to you. hope your service doesn’t act up right before a holiday because you’ll be without it until they open and get back to you (it’s happened to me).
I also was on a family plan on t-mobile with someone from reddit for about two years and that worked out great. Main reason I'm not on that plan now was I eventually was able to convince my actual family to set up an account. My dad is ex military so the plan is a better value than reddit.
Hey Stetson! Do you know how they’re able to always offer the lowest rate right away? They’re taking a huge risk that they won’t get enough people to join and could end up operating in the red if they aren’t already. Makes me nervous for their future as the service fee can only go so far. I am just nervous if I list my plan as an account owner and they go under, I’d be stuck with a massive bill.
I decided to try CircledIn after watching the video. What a horrible experience it has been so far. They had no issues charging me the $5 for the sim card. I received an email on 3/2 that my sim card was sent out and I haven't received anything so far. Any attempt of contacting support has been impossible (multiple emails, chat window on their website etc). I would recommend staying away from them (especially if you're thinking about porting in your main number) until they can improve customer support/service.
Some people say prepaid services like Visible and Mint are too good to be true, but they are actually true. A lot of things are changing in wireless, so don’t be skeptical. Also, Visible has a “party pay” system just like Circledin. The reason why systems like circledin and the prepaid just getting better and better is because people are fed up giving hundreds of dollars to carriers (Verizon is a big culprit of this ridiculous pricing)

Skeptical about this idea. Don't know how successful will this be! $5/mo subscription fee discourages me since with $5 extra I can be on a better plan or 3 members in a family which is easy to make. And often people ignore the taxes which is a lot on postpaid
They could add a 50$ service where they look at an account isn't going to sign up for them and let the holder know the discount... It could cost more if the discount is more sizable. I know its not recurring but they already know what discounts can be applied.
