If AEW messes up Hurt Syndicate it would be the biggest fumble in wrestling! Hurt Syndicate is one of those where I would just let them create it on their own and Tony Khan just sit down somewhere

Roman has put over and/or elevated more superstars than anyone, also, and I could be wrong, he has not buried any talent along the way. Jey doing all that he did at CJ was great because it was a definite shot to Roman letting him know that this isn’t the same “weak” Jey that’s just gonna fall in line. That he is truly Roman’s equal and it’s no longer going to be this Roman’s way or no way situation. Wearing his own colors and having his own entrance shows Roman “this is who I am now”.
